When I woke up I was surprised to see that it was already 12:47. Jeez, I didn't think that I was that tired. I got up and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready to meet Jer at the grill. I checked Olesya's room before I hopped into the shower to find that she had already left, thank God. I quickly undressed before jumping in the hot water.

I hurriedly scrubbed my hair and body and shaved my arms and legs before getting out and wrapping myself in a towel. I then proceeded to run into my room and open my closet doors to find something to wear, I settled for a dark red v-neck t-shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. I went back to the bathroom and grabbed my brush off of the counter and started to brush my damp hair.

When I finished with that I walked down the hall and into the kitchen to make some coffee. Somehow I was still tired, even with all of that rest. I poured the coffee grounds into the small white coffee ground holder and added the water. I pressed the 'on' button and watched the dark black liquid fall into the huge clear jug.

I didn't grab anything to eat since I was going to eat at the grill. I pulled the jug out of the coffee maker when it was done and poured some into my thermos, adding milk and sugar. I then grabbed the keys out of the bowl and rushed to my Mini Cooper so that I could get some errands done before I had to meet Jer in about an hour.

First I went to the small market to buy the eggs and noodles that Oleseya forgot yesterday, probably in her search for protection in a box. I walked into the store and headed straight to the dairy. I grabbed a dozen eggs and placed them carefully in the hand basket that I grabbed at the door. I started to walk toward the pasta for the noodles when I ran into someone.

"Oh, I'm so-" I cut myself off and took a step back back when I realized who it was. "Damon." I said bluntly, putting my hand in my pocket in case I had to grab my peper-vervain spray bottle. He cocked his head to the side and smirked slightly.

"The one and only." He said sarcastically.

"Your not funny. Now get out of my way." I said nastily, trying to go around Damon. He merely stepped in front of my path and his voice turned cold, smirk wiped off of his face.

"Where did you get that bottle?" He practically growled at her. Crystal stepped back and faced him with a stern expression.

"Someone close. Someone who cares about me enough to protect me." Then feeling good that morning and pissed at Damon, I added, "from people like you." Crystal said, avoiding the question. I had struck a nerve.

"Don't dodge the question." He growled low, almost like he'd read my mind. Damon then grabbed my wrist, the one that wasn't holding her basket. "You have no idea who you're dealing with." He enunciated every other word in a chilling way. He was also REALLY hurting my wrist.

"Then don't sound like you're threatening the person that gave it to me." Crystal shot venomously back. I tried to pull my arm free of his grip and attempt to go around him again but as I said before, I'm not very strong. Damon merely squeezed tighter.

"Who gave it to you?" Damon looked even scarier.

"And again I say, don't mess with someone who has this." I quickly pulled out the bottle and dropped the basket to squirt it in his eyes.

"Ahh." He screamed. I picked up my basket and hurriedly, so that I wouldn't get caught and because I was running out of time, to the pasta aisle. I checked my watch, 1:33, I grabbed the box of pasta that I needed for tonight and grabbed the pasta sauce that I needed and threw them both into my basket and ran to the cashier, luckily there were no people in line. I got the bags and ran back to my Mini Cooper and put them into the back.

My next stop was the bank, I needed to get some money for later today because I was running low, plus I needed gas. I pulled into a nearby chase and walked inside to use the atm. As I opened the door I saw that someone else was at the atm already. Hey, wait, I new that head.

"Stefan?" I asked, tapping him on the shoulder. He turned around. I sighed.

"What's wrong?" He asked, typical do-gooder Stefan. The total opposite of his brother.

"Basically, one word, or two however you look at it. Damon, your brother, or jack ass." I said sarcastically, looking up at him. Why was I stuck at 5'5", I was so short compared to him.

Stefan's POV

Ah, Damon. Stefan needed to do something about him. He was killing people and he was threatening Stefan's friends. He needed to go. But he only voiced a few words of his anger and disaproval. He crossed his arms over his chest.

"What did he do?" Stefan asked, exasperated.

"He keeps asking me questions and is threatening people that I love and myself. He grabbed my arm just a little while ago." Crystal showed her bruised arm to a enraged Stefan. "I'm scared of him, Stefan, but I can't show it." Her words eerily echoed words that Elena had told him recently.

"I'll take care of it." Stefan said bluntly. He turned around and got the money he needed and brushed past a confused looking Crystal to his car.

Sorry that this is SO short. The next chapter is better, I promise. I'm really sorry that I haven't updated in a while, I've been super stressed and busy with everything, between moving, school, and just being a 13 year old girl who likes to play with her friends, I haven't really had the time. Also, I figured that the video on the right fit this chapter for Damon's attitude and everythin. But here ya go. Feel free to give me feedback. Bye!!
