Soon, dinner rolled around, and Tori sat in next to Michael just as she had the day before. Throughout dinner, Luke seemed panicky, glancing up from his plate ever so often, a paranoid expression on his features. Stacy appeared to have took noticed his odd behavior and asked him what was wrong, her brow creased. He quickly responded with "nothing" and kissed her forehead. Tori gnawed at her fingernails nervously. One part of her was telling her to blurt everything to Stacy, but she knew her promise to Luke.
"What's wrong, babe?"
babe.
Tori's heart fluttered.
"Ummmmmmm.......m" Her mind came up blank. All her previous thoughts wandered away, leaving her without ammunition in the war that was Michael. Michael chuckled before looking down at his food, a light shade of pink on his cheeks.
Tori notices Stacy flash her small smile from across the table. She returns the smile sheepishly.

Tori had initially planned to go to bed after dinner, but her plans were suddenly reconstructed without her permission by Stacy. Apparently, every weekend the circus has a huge party after dinner that lasts well into the night. According to Stacy, it wasn't an option for Tori to refuse to go.
"Do I have to go?" Tori whines as she follows Stacy to the arena.
"Yes. Its your first week here, its, like, mandatory to go." Stacy enforces. Tori lets out an exasperated sigh before agreeing. The pair wander down the concrete path to the bigtop. As soon as they come close to it, they begin to hear drunken laughter and festive music playing. Tori smiled to herself, her drowsiness disappearing, tonight would be fun.
Stacy and Tori step into the stadium to find the place filled with familiar drunken faces. The air was hot and sticky, making it hard for Tori to breath. Music thumped loudly, and people danced wildly. Tonight was the night for letting go of every single care in the world.
Tori's companion hauled her along to the left hand side of the room where there was a table with an array of liquors of all colors on it. With a expressive smile, Stacy brushed her blond hair aside and selected a bottle of amber liquid.
She then grabbed two solo cups and squirted. Stacy didn't add anything to the hard liquor, claiming that this was how they did things at the circus. With an uneasy nod, Tori sipped the liquid, crinkling her nose at its putrid smell and taste.
Stacy seemed completely used to it, and downed the liquid without any problem, before going to the table to fetch more.
"Ya want another one, Tor?" Stacy inquired.
"Nah, I'm good. Still working on this one." Tori said, gesturing to her cup.
"Okay. Meet me by the seats over there?" Stacy questioned, gesturing vaguely to the right. Tori nodded, and began to walk gawkily through the maze of drunken people dancing. Finally, she made it, and plopped herself on the bench.
With nothing better to think of, her mind wandered to the Stacy and Luke dilemma. Stacy didn't deserve to be lied to, even if it wasn't a bad lie. Tori fretted in her seat uncomfortably, not being able to shake the guilt no matter how hard she tried. Soon, Stacy came into view, juggling 3 solo cups.
"Heyy!" Stacy laughed, her voice tipsy.
"Hiiii!" Tori mocked, giggling.
"So I brought you two cups, because I feel like you're more fun when you're drunk." She handed her the two extra drinks, twittering. Tori wasn't even finished her first.
"You know, every Saturday night, its a tradition that I get wasted off my ass, and Luke gets worried and comes looking for me...LIKE SUPERMAN!" She cackles, sticking out her arms in a flying motion.
