They say men takes 8.2 seconds to fall in love. Gulf's love was not a "love at first sight" type of love. Gulf's love for his Khun Phi was a slow burn. The more he learns of Mew's personality and character, the more his feelings develop.
It has been exactly two months and sixteen days since Gulf had fallen for his Khun Phi and it's also been exactly two months and sixteen days since he started to experience the Hanahaki Disease. He does not know how he's been able to keep his current condition a secret from everyone, including his mother. But, he'd have to admit, he was doing a pretty damn good job at it.
Gulf is prepared to die for love. He is now living his last few days making memories with the people he loves. He knew he could solve his condition via surgery, which can stop the growth of the red roses - Mew's favourite type of flower - in his lungs and he'll be able to forget what it feels like to love a certain Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat.
Yet, he could not imagine a life where he does not love Mew. He would rather die knowing he had loved Mew than to live a life not loving Mew. His love for his Khun Phi runs deep.
