'There hasn't been much time Fiona!' 

'What do you mean there hasn't been much time, it's your wedding I'm sure you can fit in 10 minutes to talk about it.'

'I don't want to stress Mick and put any pressure on him, weddings don't seem like the milkovich style.'

'Ian, Mickey is in love with you and if he's prepared to get married then what are you waiting for?'

Fiona was right, what was I waiting for? The truth is I know Mick is ready, he's told me repeatedly, so why was I finding it difficult? Was I nervous? Maybe. Am I ready? I don't know. How can I expect Mick to live with me for the rest of his life, live with someone who suffers from bipolar disorder, is that fair?

'Hey gallagher, what you staring at?'

'Huh, what?'

'You was just sat there staring.'

'Oh, I was thinking about us, the wedding'

'Oh yeah me too, listen I was thinking we call my cousin Sandy up, she can help with the planning because fuck if Mandy is able to plan a wedding.'

'I didn't know you had a cousin Sandy?'

'Oh yeah, used to be best friends, you'll love her.'

'Can't wait to meet another fucked up milkovich'

'Haha, watch it firecrotch.' 

Mickeys laugh. God, that laugh.

This is what makes the past worth it, our fucked up past filled with mistakes and bad decisions and fucked up fathers and fucked up marriages and fucked up families, safe to say it has been a very fucked up couple of years, but seeing Mick smile and hearing his laugh and seeing his eyes light up whenever I walk into the room makes all of that so fucking worth it, worth seeing Mickey closeted, worth seeing him with a woman, fucking worth it. Our happiness was worth it.

'Hey, Sandy it's Mickey, come to the house I need to talk to you about something. Yeah..Sure, see you then'

'Sandy? Who's that?' Said Debbie looking as confused as ever.

'That is our cousin, Sandy Milkovich.' Said Mandy as she walked in staring at Mickey with a look of rage on her face.

'Why did you call Sandy?'

'None of your business.'

'Well she's my family too Mickey.'

'Bitch get of my fucking back, Ian and I need help planning this wedding, or did you forget seen as you haven't even congratulated me and you have spent all your time with Lip.'

'Oh fuck off you know I congratulated Ian.'

'Am I Ian? Didn't think so.' Said Mickey storming out of the gallagher kitchen.

'Debbie, what was that about?'

'He's your brother not mine so go find out, maybe ask Ian.'
