'How do I tell my family that we are engaged?' said Ian nervously. After what happened at Fiona's wedding the idea of a wedding put him off but he knew that Mickey wouldn't do anything to ruin their relationship.
'Just tell them...they love you just as much as I do and they want you to be happy'
'I know just.. what if they aren't happy for us or Frank will ruin yet ANOTHER wedding'
'Listen if he does I'll kill him'
'Come on let's go home'
'I am home' said Mickey.
Ian smiled nervously.
Mickey and Ian were standing outside the Gallagher house.
'I think you should wait outside'
'Yeah okay, I'll be waiting just here'
Ian slowly opened the door and he saw all of his family sat on the old, dirty couch that grew up with him, he had missed them terribly. He was too scared and was about to walk out of the door when suddenly he heard his younger sister Debbie shout 'IAN'. All his family was now staring and smiling at him and all ran up to hug him. He saw mandy and lip sat together and he was so happy for his brother and best friends, he knew that all of these people and Mickey were his family.
He had now forgotten why he was nervous to tell them the good news. He was so excited he suddenly blurted it out. 'Mickey and I are engaged' he shouted. All of their smiles and cheers turned into frowns and shouts. Even Mandy looked annoyed. He now remembered why he didn't want to tell them.
