~Sana POV~
After our very awkward lunch, we went to our respective classes. Taehyung's hand slipped into mine. "Why did you drag Jackson to our table?"
I opened my mouth to answer but quickly closed it. I can't say the truth, Irene unnies' plan will be ruined if I tell even one of my friends...
"Sana?"
"Huh?" I asked distractedly. "Oh! Jackson just seemed.... lonely so I invited him to sit with us..."
Taehyung didn't seem to believe my pathetic excuse but he let the topic go, which was a relief for me, I was worried I would say that the aliens-might-get-him as a reason.
~Mark POV~
"Lee Taeyong." Irene called. The guy, Taeyong turned around.
"Who are you?" He asked, his voice showing no signs of fear. Irene removed her facemask, making the guy raise an eyebrow and chuckle.
"Ms. Bae." He said.
"I'd like to talk to you, Lee." Irene said. The guy was about to say something when he noticed me right behind Irene, his hand drifted to his side, fingers curling tightly on a small knife.
"He's with me." Irene said quickly, the guy didn't remove his hand from his knife but his posture became relaxed, which did not make me feel any safer.
"What do you want, Ms. Bae?" He asked, his dark eyes glinting.
"I want you to side with me. Help me fight my father." Irene answered, stepping closer to the guy, her eyes showing determination.
The guy smirked. "So... that's what Ms. Bae Juhyun has been up to, huh?" He asked and laughed, but it wasn't because he was happy, it was more of a sarcastic-amused kind of laugh. "Tsk, tsk... Bae Juhyun, what wound the boss say if her precious daughter wants him arrested? Do you know what would happen to you if he knew what you were up to? Do you think he would just let it pass? Do you know what would happen to everyone that sides with you? Do you know what will happen to that boyfriend of yours? He'll be killed right in front of you."
