Chapter 12

Okay hey you guys! i know i havent been on in forever. Im so sorry. I feel really bad so im going to a quick update tonight. Its going to be fairly short because i have school in the morning. But ill update again tomorrow if i dont have too much home work! - J

Lukes POV

I sit there in the room Rileys in staring at her lifeless body. Her heart is slowly beating. But shes still hanging on. I feel like this is my fault. Oh wait. It is my fault.  I slowly get up out of my chair and walk over to her. I look at her stomach. I hope our little Angel is okay. I kiss the top on Riley's head, shes so cold. Shes pale as a ghost. I gulp and grab her hand and put it on my cheek while mine is on hers. I remember the first day i saw this girl. At my concert. I know it wasnt the right thing to kidnap her but, i wanted her to be mine. Thats what i got and were happy. Well apparently not her. Look where shes at. Laying in a hospital bed. i sigh.

" I love you so much Riley, since the day i layed my eyes on you at my concert ive loved you. I love every single thing about you i know we have had a few bumps in the road, but were gonna make it baby. You and me together for always. Everything is going to be okay. I know you cant hear me. But i love you so much." i start to cry.

I hear her yawn. She looks straight at me her eyes dark brown and wide. I look straight back at her saying nothing.

"What would i do without my Luke. My sweet Luke that every time i see his ice blue eyes i fall in love all over again" she smiles

" You're okay BABY YOU'RE OKAY" i yell with tears of joy in my eyes.

"Im not going anywhere Luke." 

I kiss her. She kisses back and soon its a makeout session. 

I heard a knock on the door so i pulled away and the doctor came in.

" Miss Rileys awake. Now we need to take her to the clinic department for a check up on her and yalls baby!" she smiles. She starts to roll Riley away on her bed and Riley looks back at me and mouths 

" i love you" 

 " i love you more" i mouth back

 i call the boys and tell them shes awake and their now checking on her and the baby.

I just hope their both okay. I pace the waiting room.

" Mr Hemmings?" a lady says

" Yes" 

she motions me to follow her. We get to a room that Rileys in her eyes light up once she sees me. I walk over to her and hold her hand.

Another doctor comes in and shut the door he sighs.

" I thought i needed to tell you guys together."

I look at Riley she looks confused.

" Well it seems as if.... Yall's baby did not make it im so sorry. Il give you two some time alone before we find a time for her surgery for the fetus to be removed." he says and walks out of the room with the other nurse.

Riley looks at me in shock. Then bam. She starts sobbing. I sit down on the couch thats in the room. She crawls onto my lap and puts her head in the crook of my neck and continues to sob. I hug her tight and i start to cry too. I take my hand and mover her hair and say into her ear.

" We-were gonna be okay you hear me Ri we gonna be okay." i say to her still crying.

" No were not its not gonna be okay we just lost-ou-our baby" she cries.

" Its going to be okay. Were going to be okay baby. I love you so much."  

i sit there and cry with her until she falls asleep i lay her on the couch. I lay behind her. I put my cheek against hers a single tear goes down my face and touches and goes down hers. i hug her as tight as i can without hurting her.

" Were going to okay" i whisper again and again and again until i fall into the darkness of sleep.

Were going to be okay right? i questioned myself right before i fell asleep.
