I look out the window as Luke and I drive home in his car. Well not home its a beach house that we live in with the boys. He put off tour for a few days. I cannot believe what has happened in the past week. I put my hand on the console in the middle of the car. He puts his hand on top on mine. I smile at the feel of his touch.
" Is my girl blushing ?" he smirks
My cheeks get even redder. I can feel my dimples showing.
" Lukeeee stopppp" i whine
We come to a stop at a stop sign.
" Whyyyy?" he whines back
I look at him and he looks at me. He kisses me quickly and pulls back.
" Stole a kiss " He smirks and continues to drive
I laugh. Isnt it funny how one person can make you feel so happy?
" You make me happy too babygirl " he says
did i saY THAT OUT LOUD
" Yes yes you did." he smiles
" Let me take you out to dinner?" he askes
" Luke, i look terrible."
" No you dont"
" yES I DOOO"
" pleaseeeeee??" he gives me his puppy dog face that he fails at but i cant say no.
" fine "
" yay " he cheers like a little girl
i laugh. He knows my favorite restraunt. We pull in and he gets out and opens my door. He takes my hand as we walk inside. A lady shows us to our table.
" What do you want to eat my princess? " Luke askes
" You already know what i want my prince." i smile
A waitress comes to our table and looks at me and Luke. She askes me first
" What do you want " in a rude way
I look at Luke.
" Ill order for the both of us." He tells her what i want and what he wants.
" Okay sweetie ill get that as soon as possible" She says to him and winks.
" Um thats my boyfriend your talking to." i say as shes walking away
" And i care why?" she askes
I start to get up and Luke grabs my arm.
" Its okay. Im yours nobody is gonna take you away from me ever." he says trying to calm me down.
I sigh and sit beside him.
" Hey." he kisses me
"calm." he kisses me again
"down." he kisses me again
I put my head on his shoulder. He pets my hair until our food gets here. Its a different waitress thank god if she would of came back it wouldnt of been pretty.
I eat my food fairly quick because i wanna go home. I wait for Luke to finish. He finishs and pays the bill. He never lets me pay the bill ever.
*at home*
Luke opens the car door for me and i step out. The boys arent here they will be back soon though.
" Luke?"
" Yes?"
" race you upstairs " i let go of his hand and run into the house
I took off running up the stairs.
" RILEYYYYYYY WAIT " i hear him yell comming up the stairs
i wait at the top of the stairs for him.
He gets up here and grabs my hand.
He leads me into our room.
I gasp. Theres rose petals on the bed with candles lit. The roses on the bed are shaped in a heart.
Luke stands in front of me.
" I rememeber one night it was really late and i asked you what you always wanted. You said you wanted something that last forever. Well, you have my love. It will last forever until my last breath. I know things have been rough these last couple weeks but i never stopped loving you. I love you and every raw piece of skin on your body i love you and every unspoken word youve ever thought. My love for you is as indefinite as the sea and as vast as the galaxy we know so little of. My love continues to grow just as the roots of a tree grow beneath the soil. I bask in the warmth of your skin and drown in the presence of your voice. Your laugh is the harmonious sound of joy that makes my skin tingle. The idea of you makes me warm inside and full of love. Youre the constant thoughts that circulate my mind and in every dream i have i hope to see you. You are the comfort to my pain and brightness to my life. My eyes start to water.
He gets down on one knee.
" This isnt a marriage ring. yet. Soon youll be my wife. But this is a promise ring. My sweet princess Riley do you accept this promise ring?"
" Yes! " i say running into his arms
He puts the ring on my finger and stands up.
" I love you so much Luke "
I hug him. He looks down at me . I stand on my toes and kiss him. This kiss wasnt like any other kiss. It was full of love and passionate. He pushes me to the bed without breaking the kiss. He touches my cheek with his hand. He pulls from the kiss so he can breath. And his lips move to my neck. He moves my hair out of the way and kisses my neck hard. Thats gonna leave a mark. His lips smash into mine again i remove his shirt.
I pull away.
" Forever? " i ask him
He looks straight into my eyes with them ice blue eyes.
" Forever " He says
Forever i say in my mind and i smile.
