"I've still got so much love,
Underneath this skin"

Put a little love on me

• Just xo feels •

I tried to find that smile in your eyes,
But it's hard now because it's glossed with tears;
Those tears hide terrible stories untold,
But you can't afford to give in to your fears.

Don't tell me to seek the good,
When I'm already in a bad situation;
'I' has to become 'us', 'me' has to become 'we',
It's a universal thing now, not just our nation.

I knew from the start this was inevitable,
When they started to cut down that tree;
They fought and thought of murderous plans,
Hoping to set their side free.

But don't you just get it? Or don't I?,
That we are all in one side.
You, me, the nature and the sky,
We are one since birth till we die.

Who is to blame for all this chaos?
Who is the cause to this gloomy sky;
It's the blood we shed, the bad we bred,
It's the times we didn't try.

Actually guys there's another part to this poem. It's super long.
I wrote this when I was mentally devastated because of the whole Corona situation.
AND how our world is so messed up rn.
This was me being frustrated about life. Lol I'm alright now and I hope you're too! Keep reading! :)
