The Concert

Mackenzie's POV
(At Mackenzie's house 1986)

"Hurry up guys," I urged my friends Eden and Anna who will be going with me to the concert, "its 3:45, the concert starts in two hours, we need to get there early to get good spots!"

"Ok, ok! Just let me finish getting dressed would ya?" Eden said.

"I can't find my shoes! I looked everywhere!" Yelled Anna from across the house.

"Here, borrow a pair of mine. I will not be late for this concert guys!" I said as I threw a pair of black boots at Anna.

Gosh, they're my best friends but they're so freaking slow! I wish they'd hurry up before I explode.

Eden's POV

"Ok, I'm ready to go!" I said.

"Anna, you ready?" Mackenzie said impatiently.

"Yep, let's go before Mackenzie kills us." Anna said while she slipped on Mackenzie's boots.

"I'll drive!" I said as I grabbed the keys off of the counter.

"Finally!" Exclaimed Mackenzie.

And with that, we headed out the door.

Mackenzie's POV

As we were driving, I took it upon myself to throw in my favorite Bon Jovi album, Slippery When Wet. As soon as I pushed play Jon's voice boomed out of the speakers, yelling "Shot through the heart, and you're to blame. You give love, a bad name!"

"Just think about it guys, in just a few hours I'll be- I mean we'll be hearing Jon, Tico, Richie, and David sing this just feet in front of us...I think I'm going to pass out!" I screamed over the blaring radio.

"Don't pass out Mackenzie, you'll get depressed if you miss the concert because your in the hospital!" Said Anna jokingly.

Everyone laughed quietly, then we were all silent with exceptions of the stereo.

Anna's POV

We finally pulled up at the concert hall around 4:05. The car hadn't fully stopped yet, but that didn't stop Mackenzie from opening her door on the passengers side and stud-rolling out of the car.

"Mackenzie!" I screamed.

"What?!" She yelled without looking back at me.

"Are you insane?!" I screamed as I got out of the car.

"Yes! You should know that by now!" She yelled as she began running to the main doors.

Me and Eden exchanged astonished looks, then took off after Mackenzie.

"Why- is she- acting like this?" I tried to say to Eden as I was running.

"You know how- she is with- Bon Jovi." She replied also half out of breath.

"Ugh this is too much exercise!" I complained.

"I don't even see her! How far could she have gotten in that little of time?!" Said Eden.

"I don't kn- Wait I see her! Right there. She just went thru the main doors." I said.

"Ugh! We'd better speed up and catch her before she gets herself into trouble." Said Eden as she began running much faster than I can. She was on the track team, so I'm not surprised she can outrun me.

Mackenzie's POV

"Gotta find the line! Gotta find the line!" I whispered to myself as I ran. Wait...where are Eden and Anna? I looked back, still running, they're no where in sight. "Oh no...I'll never find them in this giant crowd!" I said aloud.
