Oh and this chapter starts where the family is on protest for Carolyn's school.

Anyway let's get this shit on the road.

Anthony's pov

"Babe!" Ian whispered loudly at me. "I know." I answered back.

This wouldn't have happened if Mikkala didn't make us go in this protest. Now there was a hurricane and we where stuck in this school.

I was worried about what might gonna happen. Ian looked at me,"Anthony are you okay?" He asked. I shook my head,"Please just be with me." I answered, my voice broke slightly.

He hugged me,"It'll be okay." He rubbed my back, leaving a tingly sensation where he touched. A roar from the sky boomed. There was about to be a hurricane. We learned that from the lousy tv in the teacher lounge right before it crackled out.

Ian's face buried in my neck. My breathing decreased slowly back to normal. I started to draw endless circles in his back.

"I love you." I breathed. He smiled restlessly,"I love you to." He said. Mikala and Carolyn where in the other room for a few minutes to try and find flashlights.

The school had blankets and every couple made a makeshift bed. Ours was in an empty corner in one of the English classroom. Only one more couple shared the room with us.

"It's ten o'clock now." Ian stated. I nodded and looked down at my phone. "What time did you last talk to the kids? Maybe they should be in here with us." Ian rambled. I rolled my eyes, he was gonna worry all night. "What?" He cocked his head to the side. I smiled and gave him a soft peck. "You're a good dad." I said lovingly. Ian cheeks got the slightest bit pinker,"So are you." He commented.

I lied down the the blankets, his legs where in between mine. I placed my arms on his bare back. Gently rubbing his pale back. I started feeling him kiss my neck,"I love you." I mumbled sleepily. "I love you to." I whispered against my neck.

His face snuggled deeper in my neck.

Someone slammed open the door. We jumped apart. "Dad!" Mikala screamed in tears. Brent's eyes where big and he looked worried be on compare. "What sweetheart? What's wrong?" Ian asked, rushing over and hugging her. Brent sat next to me. "What's up?" I questioned. Brent shook his head,"I can't tell you." He whispered. Mikala sobbed in Ian's shoulder.

"Mikala talk!" He demanded. She cried,"Some people out there are promising to shoot us if we don't come out!" She yelled. Ian's face went pale,"Where? Who said it sweetheart?" He questioned again. "Three of the people crowding the school." She answered.

Her sobs let down. Brent brought Billy, Felix, and Carolyn into the room. Billy kissed Brent's cheek while Brent was nearly on his lap. Ian and I didn't really care about that kind of stuff anymore. They had been a couple for a long time. Felix and Carolyn took over cheering up Mikala.

Ian grabbed my shoulder,"We're going to see the people." He explained as we entered the dark cold room. "Poor Mikala." He commented. He always got worried over Mikala. I was always the one to get worried of Brent.

We heard people laughing and a weird click-clack.

Ian grabbed my arm tightly,"What?" I asked. "That sound was a gun." He whispered. I froze in place,"Babe we have to go." I said harshly.

"Hey! Look! Shoot those stupid fucking idiots!" A man yelled.

A gun was fired.

Following by a body following to the floor,"IAN!" I screamed.
