"Get him to the emergency ward immediately!"
"Yes doctor"
"Get out of the way!!"
My head's heavy and my thoughts distorted. Trying to grip hold of the situation only made things worst as i transgressed into a state of nothingness with only the voices in my head to keep me half awake. My vision seem blurry, but i could still tell that i was surrounded by people in white clothes, though they looked more of sticks than people but the sound of urgency and panic in their voice confirmed my first guess.
"Whats...going on?" My voice was low and shaky. My body feels numb and the stinging pain in my chest felt like a thousand bees stinging me at one spot. With the cold in my throat and the tears from my eyes i continued "a-m i g-oing to die?"
"Doctor he's gaining consciousness"
"What?give him another dose of Diprivan, we can't risk this one, he has potential"
"Yes doctor"
" Doctor! The left archeries to the heart just gave out. The patient is losing a lot blood and oxygen!"
" what!!! I turn for a second and you made a hole in his archeries, God so help me if we lo..."Those were the last words i remember hearing before i slowly lost consciousness.

"Hadwin"
"Hadwin!"
"Hadwin!!"
A familiar voice kept on resonating in my head. It was the light guiding me to the end of the tunnel as i woke up to the bright room. With my eyes automatically blinking faster than usual, the image in front of me became clearer.
"Hadwin can you hear me? I'm Dr Berndt lemberger, Head of Brooklong Hospital. How do you feel?" His voice was calm and his face was carved with anxiousness.
"Yeah, i guess. What happened?" I said, sitting up on the flowery decorated bed sheet. The room was like a private ward in a hospital, with the windows behind me the air was refreshing. There was a mini Lg tv on the wall opposite me and to my left was a wardrobe coated with white paint matching perfectly with the creamy painted walls. To my right was a mini fridge with a vest of pink carnations, there was another door beside the other one next to the tv, i guessed it lead to the bathroom. Doing all these observation got me rubbing my forehead circularly to subside the slight pain i felt.
Dr Berndt anxiousness seem to have been replaced with relieve now that i was looking at him" you are at Brooklong's hospital, it's a miracle that you are awake"
"Huh?, why do you say that?" i gasped in shock
"Well i don't know how to tell you this but you have been in coma for the past two years" his face was hard to read, as if he was waiting for something and then it hit me,
"What?!!!" I screamed out of shock
"Please calm down Mr Hadwin"
"Calm down?? What kind of silly joke is this? OK where are the cameras? This is a prank right? I h'v seen these kind of videos on YouTube" with a smile on my face i desperately hoped this was a prank
"I can assure you, this is not a prank. if it would make you feel better, what year is this?"
"What the hell? Do i look dumb to you? 2019 of course"
Dr Berndt's face was deadpan, he didn't say a word. Instead he slowly reached for the TV remote on the mini fridge and turned on the news. To be honest i had never been a fan of CNN, BCC or any other news channel. I was more into music channels like Soundcity, movies and technological programs. But today, this very hour, it was used to show me the main thing they were known for -the truth-. The more i read the headlines of the news the more the smile on my face fades;
