COVID-19: Escaping Sector 9

Staying alone in a locked up room with nothing to do but staring at the ceiling and watching the fan blades spin round as a hobby was enough to make me bored to death. Usually Mrs Alisha and Alice are always around to keep me company with their troubles and jokes but now they don't come as often as before. Am guessing it might be Dr levi's handwork.

Am so bored...
Am not even allowed to watch tv...ahhhh

"Okay that's it, am taking a walk" finally fed up with waiting for them for so long i had made up my mind. I got off my bed slowly and carefully as possible not to offset the fixed needle to my hand. I grabbed hold of the long iron stand that held my drip and pulled it slowly beside me until i got to the door. I opened the door to find Mrs Alice and Mrs Alisha bickering about who was supposed to die and not die in a telenovela series they had watched yesterday.

Wow...they are here arguing while am in here dying of Borden...

I let them go on for awhile until they finally stop, realizing that i was here,

"Oh my word young Hadwin!!"Mrs Alishe was the first to react, she continued,

"What in the bloody hell are you doing out of your bed you rascal?"

"Sightseeing" i replied,

"Of all the days to get in trouble you choose the day before you get discharged?"Mrs Alice sighed as she dragged me back to my bed.

"I don't get it, i just want to have a look around. Is that a bad thing?"i asked,

"It would had been if Dr Brendt or levi had caught you just now"she said with great concern as she tucked me back in bed and pulling the sheets over my body.

"Phew...whats the worst thing they can do? Kill me?"i chuckled trying to make light of the situation but apparently they weren't finding it funny with the expression they had on their faces.

"They can extend your days here" Mrs Alice hits me were it hurts.

Another day here in this boring place?...

Thinking about it removed the smile on my face,

"How is that for a joke, darling?" Mrs Alice pats me on my leg as she joins Mrs Alisha by the wardrobe to my left. They did promise to come over to help me pack.

Usually i don't have much to pack, just my previous cloths from the night before the surgery and a couple of accessories like my wallet, phone and an expired airplane ticket flying from Italy to New York on the 2nd of august, 2019.
But recently, thanks to Mrs Alice and Mrs Alisha i had a lot more things to carry now. They brought some new clothes, fancy shoes and some accessories that were trending now but of course it wasn't for free.

" mmm...Mrs Alice, i was checking my wallet the other day and i couldn't find the nine hundred dollars i left in my wallet. Did you happen to see it?" i asked, but Mrs Alisha was the one to answer me,

"Oh come on darling, surely you don't think the shoes and clothes were free now? But if it makes you better i had kept back the spare change realised from the expenses. Am sure is more than enough to get you home tomorrow" she simply smiled and continued helping out Mrs Alice. I let out a small sigh,

As long as it gets me home...speaking of which, i highly doubt my position as a sales manager would still be available. Just when i finally got my big promotion i had to land on my big break...

I let out a sigh. After a few minutes of whiling in my thoughts about how the hard work i had put into my old job had gone down the drain and how am going to get a new one, Dr Brendt and Dr levi walked into the room.
