The curiosity, urge and sensation to open a door lies in the mystery hidden behind it. Never been a big fan of Alice and the wonderland but what i saw now beats the unrealistic events in the movie.

I was stunned by the cyberpunk apartments collided together to create huge lodges connected side by side taking a rectangular shape. The middle had a pathway that lead to another entrance at the opposite end. I stared as i watch different people walk in and out of that entrance. Some walked in groups while some walked alone. It reminded me of high school, only that taking one of the mini elevators at the end of each section of the buildings made it an upgraded version of a typical high school.

With glass walls embodying the elevator, the bright light in the middle of the building peeked through as we got to the 4th floor which was the highest. It was as clear as day for somewhere that was located under the ocean.

Walking through the lobby that connected several rooms which had numbers assigned to them was a journey of many wows. The balcony for this floor was made of metals and decorated with bright neon lights in shape of a thin cylinders. They were evenly placed by the balcony giving the black tilted floors an amazing shades of colours. With each step sending stings of pain to my brain, my wows soon became ahs.

The further we went, the more i wished we were there already. There were other people along the lobby. Some sat on the balcony chatting and some by their doors avoiding eye contacts. They were all dressed with in the same uniform i was given earlier. Some wore theirs differently in an attempt to distinct individuality. With the awkward stares and death glares from many eyes i was mentally making a list of people i was never going to talk to.

We finally halt when we got to a door labelled -102-. The two soldiers turned to me and gestured i should go in before turning their backs and walking back the way they came. With a deep sigh i looked around the black metallic door but there was no door knob or any visible security lock like i saw back when we were at the inmate dorm entrance.

How the hell am i suppose to get in now?

With every second that went by i got more irritated not only by the fact that i didn't know how to open the door but by the amount of eyes that were now on me. Deciding that am tired of waiting i decided to knock but i soon regretted that action as i turned to the crowd of laughers that were coming for the other side.

"Sorry man but i think you know that's not how doors work around here" one of the guys from the crown shouted at me. I raised my eyebrow at him and he continued
" you have to say- open up Eva love- before any door opens around here"

In disbelief i turned away from them but soon the crowd of laughter died down and they were staring at me with seriousness as i glanced at them.

I let out another sigh,

"Open up E-va...lo-ve" i fumble with words as the number of times i have to say that everyday popped up in my head. After a while the door still refused to open and i knocked again. This time the roar of laughter was twice the first time. I turned

"Oh my God man you are killing us" the same guy from earlier chuckled.

Realizing i was tricked i clenched my teeth at them but they just continued laughing. Then someone from the crowd forced his way out and went to the door before mine and placed his palm on the door and it opened. He shot a grin at me before going inside.
" ahh...come on Mark, you just have to ruined the fun, kill joy!" the guy from earlier yelled but didn't expect a responds.

I brought my gaze back to the door as i did the same thing i saw earlier. It seemed the door itself was a scanner as a white horizontal line went up and down underneath my palm.
