I walked down the hallway and opened the front door. Faintly, I could hear the sounds of laughter as the boys walked to wherever they're going.
Quietly, I shut the door and breathe in the fresh air. I sniff again. The air didn't smell fresh. It smelt musky and a tiny bit like blood.
I shook my head. You're just imagining things, Amy. All this thinking of vampires is making your senses go strange. I say to myself.

I creep down the path and slowly follow the boys. All the while, my mind telling me that I should just go back to bed.
Ignoring my mind, I walk faster and try not to loose them.

Eventually, they stop and open the gate to, the graveyard? Curious to what they were up to, I follow them through the gate and into the graveyard.

After trudging along for 15 minutes, the boys suddenly stop. Quickly, I hide behind a bush and watch them.
They had stopped in front of a gravestone and one of them was bend down fiddling with it.
"Hurry up Daniel, someone could see us." I hear one of them say.
So it was my step brother fiddling with the gravestone. Why on earth is he doing that?
"Got it." I hear him say, standing up.
I hear the sound of shifting gears as the gravestone moves to the side revealing a set of stairs heading downwards.
One by one, they walk down the stairs into the darkness.

As the last boy is about to go down, I hurry out of my hiding place and stand in the dark cemetery. I freeze as I step on a pile of leaves.
The boy span around.
"Who's there?" He asks, looking around.
I stand still, not breathing.
He looks in my direction, sniffing a bit.
Shrugging his shoulders, he made his way down the dark staircase.

Quickly and quietly, I run towards the moving gravestone and jam my foot in it just as it's about to close.
I resist the urge to scream as the gravestone crushes my foot.
Studying the gravestone, I try to see how Daniel had opened it.
There's a ruby in the middle of it and, curious to see what it would do, I pressed it.

I jump to the side as the staircase opens up underneath me.
Peering down, I try to see what's at the bottom.
Pitch black.
Taking a deep breath, I start down the staircase into the gloom.

The staircase is incredibly long and I find myself panting in no time.
"God, how do they walk down this?" I say out loud, referring to the boys.
After walking for about five more minutes, the staircase suddenly comes to a stop. I can faintly hear the sounds of the boys laughing echoing through the tunnel.
Carefully, I tiptoe forward through the tunnel and follow the sounds of the boys voices. As I walk on, their voices become clearer and I can make out a few words. Blood, sacrifice and girls. I shiver. It sounded like they had horrible conversations .

By now I had reached a cave. Guessing from the noise coming from inside, that is where the boys are. I creep towards the door and, luckily, they hadn't shut it fully. Peering in, I see about 8 to 10 boys sitting around a table laughing and drinking a red drink.
One of the boys separate from the group and goes to the corner of the room.
"Who wants more?" He asks, holding something up.
Straining my neck, I tried to see what he was holding up. I stumble forward a bit and accidentally fall into the room.
All heads turn towards me.
"Well what do we have here?" The boy who was holding something says, walking towards me.

I blush and stand up.
"Uh, sorry, w-wrong r-room." I stammer as I turn to go.
Shockingly fast, one of the boys grabbed my arm. "Who said you had to leave? Come on, join the party!"
"We do all want a snack." One of the boys piped up.
A small number of the boys started walking towards me.
"Wait." A familiar voice said. "You can't hurt her, she's my stepsister."
