The flowers blossomed everywhere around the garden. Okita Hirano has been in this garden for her whole life (not necessarily but for the most part). It's where she and her grandma always took care of the flowers. And herbs for usage. Anything that Okita could grow from the soil. There's so many types of flowers in her garden. Let's name some; Tsubaki, Momo, Sakurasou, Asago, Kiku, Wisteria, and Okita's favorite tree. The Sakura Tree. She loved it so dearly, she treated it like a sister. Her grandma would laugh at her silliness but would go along with her. Spring. Spring was Okita's favorite time of the year. She'd watch all her plants grow happily as the sun would reach out to them, and Okita would shower them. Okita loved watching all her plants develop because there was different shades around the flowers.

Back then, Okita was only four when she was introduced to her grandmother's garden. She called it, The Garden Of Prosperity. The only problem was that before she was even born, Okita's mother had a miscarriage. Her mom died from it, so Okita never met her mother before. When Okita was born, her legs looked perfectly normal. Until they started noticing the way baby Okita crawled. Every time she took a step, her whole body would swoop down. So they had to operate on her legs, causing her to regain some of her balance. But her grandma refused to let Okita walk because she said it hurt her when she was walking. So she never walked. She crawled.

In The Garden Of Prosperity, Okita didn't have to walk. She just hung out with her grandma and helped take care of the plants. She didn't go to school because she was too embarrassed to. In elementary she was always bullied by boys her age. So in middle school, she stopped going. In the garden, she'd always wear a bright pink kimono handed down from her grandma on her fifth birthday. Her grandmother was everything to Okita. She was the one who taught her about flowers, and sometimes homeschooled her. They kept this going for a long time. Until Okita was finally 14.

"Grandma. I found a pretty flower near the forest. Can I go bring a petal to you?" "I was just going to ask you if you'd like to help me with cutting off the dead branches off Ms. Sakura Tree but yes! I'd love to see this wonderful flower." "Grandma! I'll help!" "No, it's okay hon. Go get me that flower please." "Okay grandma!" Okita crawled past the flowers of the garden. On the way, she passed by Mr. Wisteria and stopped to feel it's soft vines hanging down. It was lovely and hung above her head like in those romantic scenes. Though Okita had no one to share Mr. Wisteria's romantic vines with. Every boy her age would always treat her bad, so it's not like she would really like to hold hands with one under Mr. Wisteria.

By the time she came back, her grandmother was gone. "Grandma?"

So now she lives with her helper. Her dad from Korea, sent Okita a person to help take care of the garden and her. Sure she wasn't as great as her grandma, but she was pretty cool too. They took care of the garden together. But Okita still misses her grandma dearly. They endeared the garden everyday and made tea from leaves. Something her grandma never did. That is, until today.
