A Yukata. A beautiful one. "Yukata. Your father wanted you to wear this. It was your grandmother's." "I love it!" Okita twirled around in her new yukata.
And so the day came when it was time for Okita to leave the place she's always known. The Garden of Prosperity. She packed everything from her room and put it near the entrance, saying goodbye to each of her plants. "Goodbye Ms. Sakura. Mr. Wisteria. Ms. Aloe." A black limo came around the gate of the garden. And a man in and suit came out. "Hi. I'm here to pick up Ms. Hirano." Jin hugged Okita. "Bye, Okita. Have a good time." Okita cried into Jin's shoulder. "I-I will.." "Bye..." Okita brought her luggages out the gate and tried standing up.
When she was walking, her body swooped down each time she took a step. But not as bad as before. Her kimono swept along the ground as she stumbled over to the limo. "Oh. Hi Ms. Hirano. I'm glad to see you're doing well. I'll take that." He grabbed her luggages and plopped them into the back of the limo. "There's other first years in the limo as well." Okita waved goodbye to Jin and she waved back.
As she entered the limo, she saw three other students. Two girls and one boy. They all didn't have uniforms yet. Okita sat near the front. All the students were spaced out and sat next to no one. "Hi. I'm Okita Hirano." She waved. The girl with brown pigtails in the back waved, "Hi. Nice to meet you. I'm Sawa Watanabe." As the limo drove away, the girl, Sawa moved up next to Okita. And they talked to awhile. At least she was nice and all. Not making fun of her like others from elementary.
"I love your yukata!" Sawa placed a hand on the fabric. "Oh. Thank you. I just got it from my dad in Korea. His name's xxxxxxxxxxx" The boy's eyes widened. "Oh my gosh! Xxxxxx!? You're his daughter? He's so famous!" Okita nodded happily as the boy introduced himself. Okita tucked a string of her black hair behind her hair. "Do you have a cell phone number?" Sawa asked. "Umm. No. Sorry. I don't have a phone." "Ohh. What? Literally everyone here has a phone." They laughed a little.
"So what courses do you excell in?" "What?" "Everyone in this limo got here by scholar. I got here by art!" Sawa shrugged. "Well I've been homeschooled so I'm not sure. But my dad enrolled me here." "Then you must be rich, Hirano-chan!" A voice from the front startled them, " Actually Miss Hirano, you came here by scholarship too. The course you excelled in was Science, according to your dad. He said in elementary, you had a hundred for the whole year." "Oh yeah, I do remember that."
When they arrived at a big building in the middle of the big city of Tokyo, the driver instructed them to order out. "Wow.." Okita and the others amazed at the huge building that was supposedly their school. Okita grabbed her luggage and awkwardly stumbled to the entrance. "Sir. I don't really see a garden here. Is it an indoor garden?" Okita whispered to Sir Nakamura. "Oh there's a garden, yes. But it's horrifically dwindling slowly." And that's when Okita knew, this is where she belonged.
