THE ROBERTS GIRL STOOD AT gymnastics practice Emma, as the two watched Manny Santos tumbler. She landed perfectly, and they all cheered for her. She gave the shorter blonde an excited smile, which she returned with a thumbs up.
"Manny get your photo done please." Mrs. Hitzilakos said, referring to the pictures Craig was taking for yearbook
Manny and Baby were on the phone for two hours last night, as she ranted to the blonde all about how Craig lied to her and ended up breaking her heart as well as Ashley's.
Baby was glad that Manny was finally done with the back and forth situation with Craig. Baby loved the older boy, but playing with Manny and Ashley's feelings was a really disappointing move.
"Ms. H? I don't feel so good." Kendra groaned, dismounting from the bar
"Oh no, not you too, Kendra!" Ms. H sighed, referring to the sickness that was spreading around Degrassi like a wild-fire.
Kendra gagged, before running to the bathroom with her hand covering her mouth, "No more breathing girls. There are germs everywhere, and I'm not about to lose another one of you to the stomach flu going around." Ms. H told the girls, pushing Manny to go get her picture
"Isn't breathing an essential part of life, Ms. H?" Baby asked with a small smile
"No sarcastic comments right now, Baby. Practice the bar." She said pointing her finger at the blonde
"Ma'am, yes, ma'am." The girl nodded, saluting and running to the bar
Once the girls were let out of practice, they all headed to the locker room to change, before making their separate ways to their classes.
"Baby!" Manny called after the blonde girl in the hall
"What's up?" The blonde asked, slowing down so she could catch up with her. She didn't say anything, but grabbed the girl's hand and dragged her to the bathroom.
"Why are girls so mean?" Manny asked the blonde with tears streaming down her face
"Manny, what did they say?" Baby questioned, hugging her close and letting Manny cry on her shoulder
"I know what I did was wrong, but I didn't think people would be so mean about it." She confessed, continuing to cry
"Hey, hey. It's okay, because what they say about you shouldn't concern you. No one knows what really happened except you, Ashley, and Craig." Baby promised, wiping away some of her tears
The blonde noticed she was a little pale, and held a hand to her forehead, "Manny, are you okay? You feel a little warm."
"Yeah, I'm okay. Let's get to English before we're late. Thank you for letting me cry, and please don't tell anyone." Manny insisted with a small laugh
