Graces pov

I sighed to myself as we finally pulled into the driveway of our new home in Plymouth. Jack and I drove in our car, Dad drove the Uhaul and mom drove her car and kate and luke drove my dads car. Quinn was already here after playing with Team USA for the last year. I was excited for Jack and all the opportunity he was going to have yet I was really sad to leave my whole life behind in Toronto. I finally made friends I felt comfortable around and only have 2 years of high school left and being the new girl was not going to be ideal. Not to mention my boyfriend, Mark that I was leaving behind, sure it was nothing super serious just a stupid high school relationship, but it still hurt to say goodbye, we didn't officially call it quits but I'm guessing it will only take a little time before the long-distance gets to be too much. But, it was also a big opportunity for me as, I was training to go to the Olympics for figure skating and had already gone for swimming in Rio 2016, receiving a few medals. Moving to Michigan was going to allow me to be closer to my coaches and have a higher practice facility because they were allowing us to use the USANTDP's practice facility. 

As we all got out of the cars, Quinn also pulling up with his friend Brady, we quickly sprinted inside to try and claim the best rooms. I made it upstairs second, and quickly tried to find which room I wanted, shoving luke and jack out of the way. But, we all stopped when we heard Quinn say, "you guys are so stupid, mom already assigned rooms"

we all whipped our heads to look at her, waiting for her to explain, "I did, since we will be having a guest staying with us and we want him to feel as at home as possible" referencing Jacks teammate, Alex Turcotte who would be living with us, he was set to arrive later today, before camp started tomorrow. 

My mom started walking going to the bedroom farthest down the hall labeling it as mine, and the one next to it was Kate's, followed to the one across the hall as luke's. us three would be sharing one bathroom and then on the other side of the hallway, jack, Quinn, and Alex all had their rooms and would be sharing one bathroom. we also had a nice recreational room to hang out in. My parent's room was on the first floor and a guest area in the basement. Brady was living in the house across the street with a billet family, that him and Quinn lived with last year, so he will basically be living with us as well.

We quickly got to unpacking everything, in hopes that it would all be done by the time Alex and his family got here to drop him off. As Jack yelled to everyone that Alex was almost here, I quickly changed to look more presentable into a pair of jeans and a grey tank top, taking my hair out of a braid and letting it flow into waves. 

When we heard a knock on the door my mom quickly yelled for us to all come down, before opening the door. 

As kate, luke and I walked down the steps, I instantly made eye contact with Alex, sending him a smile and muttering to kate, "hmm maybe this won't be so bad" 

Alex looked pretty cute, not my type but maybe the rest of Jack's teammates were also this cute. 

I hear my mom start to introduce everyone, "this is Jim, Quinn you probably know, jack who you know, kate she is also in college shes a sophomore, luke whos a freshman at your school and then grace, who is also your age, jacks twin" she explains to Alex 

I slightly roll my eyes at being introduced as Jack's twin, Alex catches me doing so and slightly chuckles sending me a smirk, which I return. Jack shows Alex to his room while my parents talk to his and we all excuse ourselves to go back to unpacking. jack then shows Alex around, they both walk into my room, jack saying, "and this is my twins' room" with a laugh while looking at me

I chuckle and say "shut it rowdy" the nickname we gave to our brother long ago. 

"Woah it's nice in here," Alex says 

you smile saying "thank you" pretty happy with how your room turned out 

you guys all get to talking and getting to know Alex better, before its time for his parents to leave. as you begin to get ready for bed, you walk into Jack's room, where he and Alex are talking before asking what their plans are for tomorrow. 

jack just sighs before saying, "I think we have to be at the rink around 10 to start the day off and we'll be there till around 3 then mom and dad are hosting the team bonfire cookout thing at like 5 I think" 

I simply nod my head before saying, "I have to be at the rink at 10 tomorrow too for weights and skating but ill be done by 1130 at the latest, should we just drive separate?" 

Jack grumbles before saying "well we all know  Quinn isn't giving up his car so you could just pick us up" referring to Quinn getting his jeep when he moved to Michigan and kate, jack and I all share our parent's old car, while my dad and mom both have their cars. 

"wait what time are Brady and Quinn going," you ask, plopping down on Jack's bean bag and calling out to luke and Quinn. Quinn appears in the doorway while I ask,

"What time are you and brady going to the rink" 

"I think around 10" Quinn explains 

"ok so can I just take one of the cars home and ill go with jack and Alex and then you 4 can all come home together?," I ask

both jack and Quinn nod their heads, while Quinn leaves to go take a shower Alex asks, "wait so you play too?" 

I kinda chuckle and say "not really... I figure skate and then swim"

jack chimes in "ya act like your not big shot"

I shot him a look and Alex replies "wait what"

I just sigh and say, "well I train with team USA for figure skating in hopes of the Olympics and I went to the summer Olympics for swimming so"

Alex looks shocked before saying, "wait so that's why you look so familiar, damn good for you!" he says

I simply say "thanks" with a small smile before turning around and bidding everyone a goodnight. I pick out my outfit for tomorrow, before setting my alarm and heading to bed, officially ending my first day in Plymouth.
