The crowd went wild when Min Yoongi manage to score the last point. Yoongi raised both his pale hands to the air in happiness before his members tackled him with a victory hug. Jennie cheered loudly with Jisoo and Irene beside her chuckling. Yoongi broke the engulfed hug before turning to the crowd, searching for a particular person. When their eyes meet, she smiled brightly whlist clapping her hands. Yoongi flashed her a wide gummy smile.
"Damn, your parents must've been proud of you." Jisoo laughed. Jin stiffened as Yoongi felt his smile loosen. "Yeah," He cleared his throat. "They'll be proud of me." He said. Jennie noticed the sudden change of his behaviour , she glanced at Yoongi worriedly. "You ok?" Jennie questioned. Yoongi then flashed a fake smile, "Of course I am! I just won a medal!" Yoongi boasted, showing off the gold medal hanging on his neck. "Oh yeah? I might beat you in basketball one day." Jisoo laughed. "May I remind you Jichu, you thought the enemy's teams were our's." Irene laughed. "Oh shut it, I'm better than you in anything!" Jisoo argued. "Not in archery." Irene laughed again. Jisoo rolled her eyes before turning towards Yoongi. "You, I'll challenge you one day." Jisoo said. "Sure," Yoongi softly laughed. " Hyung, you wanna join?" Yoongi asked. "Nah, I don't want to die in such a young age." Jin replied. The four continues to talk, but Jennie stayed in silence. Though Min Yoongi manage to fool them, his fake smile and happiness can never escape from Jennie's eyes. Why? Oh, because she herself used them often..
Jisoo held a bouquet of white roses in her hands before kneeling down the grave in front of her. "I came to visit." She said. Her another hand rested on the tombstone before softly smiling. Her eyes glistened with pure regret and pain before it started to sting. Jisoo said nothing, she didn't intend to, she just stared at the tombstone quietly. Her vision soon became blurred, tears were forming in the corner of her eyes, but Kim Jisoo still kept quiet. The thunders stroke, the breeze harshly pushed her as little raindrops began to pour. Jisoo still stayed put, fighting all the urge to let her tears fall. The thunder loudly grumbled, Jisoo shivered under the cold atmosphere. "Mian." Just like that, the grey clouds poured the raindrops as Jisoo released her tears. She's not crying alone, she knows that. The rain continues to be pulled by the gravity, soaking Jisoo completely. "Mian.." She repeated. She could feel her warm tears and the cold raindrops on her cheeks, but that never stops Jisoo from hidding her cries. Her heart-shaped lips parted as she cried, the colour of grey spreaded on the skies. There were no moon in that moment, the sun is lost in the skies.. Her long, black dress were stained with mud, her whole fragile body were soaked with water, her soul.. is filled with suffers.
"KIM TAEHYUNG WAE?!"
The thunder stroke loudly, muffling Jisoo's painful cries. She continues to cry, her mind lost and her heart shattered. If your heart is shattered to pieces, how do you mend it back to the same heart from before? Jisoo never stops her tears, she mourn badly for the boy who owns the name of Kim Taehyung.
Kim Taehyung, the boy that never wakes up from now on.
"YOU USELESS BITCH!"
Jennie flinched when her step-father slapped her mother. Jennie hid behind the wall as she witness her step-father hurting her own mother. Her nails sunk deep into her skin, anger began to rise and admit into her mind. She wanted to save her mother, but she knew it is impossible to do so. And even if she could, her mother wouldn't allow her to do so. Her mother's painful cries pierced through her tore heart. The abuse did not stop, and that angers Jennie a lot. With a glare, she angrily stared at her father, an aura of murder stuck on to her. "One day, I swear.. Karma will fuck you up so badly."
"Welcome."
The customer bowed slightly at Yoongi before minding her own business. Yoongi glanced at this watch, mumbling about how many more minutes left before his shift is finally done. Just then, the door slide open as the bell rang in the presence of a customer. "Welcome." He greeted. Yoongi was busy settling the machine in front of him that he did not even glance at his customer. "I never knew you work here."
Yoongi shot his head up, locking his eyes with the customer. The boy stoof in front of him with a wide grin; his hands in his pockets, hood over his head. "Do I know you?" Yoongi asked. "Oh? We just met today, don't you remember me?" The boy replied. Yoongi furrowed his brows as his nose scrunched in confusion. "Perhaps you mistook me for someone else." Yoongi said. "No, I didn't. You're Min Yoongi, the famous basketball player in Seoul University." The boy said, his grin widen. Yoongi was creeped out that the fact this boy knows such details of him. "How did you know-" "You also write nice lyrics, I'm fascinated by you." The boy smiled. That, made Yoongi's eyes widen to the maximum. Aside from Jin, no one in this world knows that he writes lyrics. (Except for the fact he was caught by his mother writing lyrics in his room of course.) "Who the fuck are you?" Yoongi asked sternly. "Whoa whoa now, calm down from your swearings." He chuckled. Yoongi's gut twisted uncomfortably, not only he knows Yoongi's name and where he is studying, he knows Yoongi's secret. "I know you wanted to compose your own song, I can help you. You and I have interest on music, let's work together to compose our song." The male smirked. Ain't no way I'm gonna agree with your bullshits. Yoongi was about to reject him when he passed Yoongi a paper. "I do hope ypu'll reconsider my offer, you're amazingly talented." The boy said. He went to the door as Yoongi's eyes followed in suit. "Oh, and also, search me up on the Internet. The name's Kwon Ji Yong." He winked before leaving, making Yoongi cringing in disgust. Weird guy. He shrugged his shoulders before unfolding the paper. Yoongi's eyes widen as he realised it's one of his lyrics sheet. And at that moment, Yoongi immediately knew who this boy is.
The boy he bumped onto this morning.
"You'd got to be kidding me."
Yoongi and Jennie's eyes locked as they both froze on their spot. "Is this coincidence or fate?" Yoongi smirked. "Definitely coincidence." Jennie laughed. They both sat on the bench while waiting for the bus. "Why not fate?" Yoongi asked. "Simple, 'cuz I don't believe in fate." Jennie casually replied. Yoongi nodded before staring into the blank, dark sky. A car passed by, they both sat in a peaceful silence. "Hey Yoongs." "Hm?"
"What if, there's a girl, who always felt helpless and useless, she just wants to hide and cry, but she can't. What would you do to get rid of that emptiness in her heart if you were that girl?" Jennie asked. "Everyone has their limit to store their emotions, you can never change that. Talk to someone whom you trust about your problems, no one deserves to suffer alone." Yoongi answered. "Hm, nice advice." Jennie smiled. Yoongi turned to Jennie, "Are you, perhaps.." Jennie glanced at Yoongi.
"Are you perhaps that girl?"
Jennie could feel her smile dropped as her muscles tensed. "Aniya, I was just smiply asking." Jennie flashed a fake smile. "I can always help you if you need comfort." Yoongi said, his tone so sincere that Jennie was shocked. And by that sincere tone of his, Jennie immediately knew Yoongi wasn't lying about helping her. "Gwanchana." She lied, still flashing her fake smile. Yoongi could figure out her smile is fake, but he decided to stay quiet. "Do you, ever feel like you're caged, locked up and forced?" Yoongi softly asked. "Sometimes." Jennie replied. He nodded, glancing at the sky again. "The stars are awake." He smiled. Jennie looked up, only to be greeted by millions of twinkling stars. "Yeah they are.." Jennie too, smiled.
Both Yoongi and Jennie admired the stars, none of them spoke. They wished thye could be those sparkling stars. Just like the stars, they wished they could be freed from their pain. Just like the stars, they hoped they could show who they really are.
Just like the stars.. they wanted to shine in their their darkest moment..
