"Where are we going!?" I yelled through the fabric of the bag. "We are going to the gym, Joker already told you!" She laughed. "I don't want to train! You'll see I'll be out of here in no time!" I pointed a finger to the air as she pushed me through a door. "I would love to see you try with Joker's guards on every door." She said as she took the bag off my head and I was now in a gym. There were weights, treadmills, tons of bicycles, and more stuff that I've used and been told to use before from Bruce's dumb training, as well.
"So, um, I heard you have a superpower or whatever." She tilted her head. "It's not a superpower! it's just an emotional tick." I crossed my arms. "What is it, what's the 'emotional tick' that everyone mistakenly calls a superpower?" She smirked.
"I can become invisible." I scratched my arm as we made eye contact. "Well, show me then." She eyed me up and down. "What?" She looked around and laughed, "I don't recall stuttering, show me!" She chuckled.
"Fine." I started with my arms and I could already hear her gasping, next were the legs and torso which were always easy for me to make disappear due to the fact that they were the biggest areas of my body, and lastly my head. "See, nothing special." I raised my arms as if she could see them.
"Are you joking! This is the coolest thing in the world!" She said as she began walking around my now, floating sports bra, leggings, and shoes. "So, what exactly are we doing first?" I began circling with her. "Well, let's start with self-defense, unless you know how to defend yourself?" She smirked.
"Damn right I know how to defend myself." I chuckled.
"We'll see, since class has now begun." Harley showed me defensive moves—well, her methods, not Bruce's. She showed me what to do if someone grabs you, if someone's following you and being sketchy, or what to do when someone has you to the ground or in a headlock. We even practiced what to do if someone had a gun or knife to you. It was fun but really tiring, especially with someone your size.
We were so in the mood that when I heard footsteps coming from the door, I got scared and defensive. "I'm teaching you how to nearly kill someone and you're scared of some noise." Harley chuckled. "Shush." I embarrassedly pushed her.
I turned around and saw that someone was coming. Then the door opened and he walked in with my blue and white suit in his hand. "What's that?" Harley said as she began bouncing up and down, she was getting ready to fight again.
"Her suit, I didn't give it to her because it makes her fully invisible, and I don't want that. Also, I want to see how she does with it. Since that is how she will be uh--fighting most of the time." He looked around.
"So, come get it." He shook it around and in one swift move, I ripped it out of his hand and laughed. Until he wrapped his hand around my neck which made me appear, damn it. "Don't be sneaky, princess." He growled and stared into my eyes. Once again I could feel his body temperature and the smell of his rustic cologne took over my nostrils and sent me to hell, it was compelling. His eyes seemed to burn so intensely into mine, that I couldn't escape his glare.
"Will you be staying, J?" Harley said to calm down the tension in the room. "Yes, but only for a little, I have a package coming in, so not for long." He smirked. "What kind of package?" Harley elbowed him. "Just some douchebag that needs to be handled with." He laughed.
"Another you're gonna hold captive?" I entered into the conversation. "Well, just for a little while, but you can say that."
"Back to the conversation, I'm going to stay, to see if she can defend herself—and uh—after I see if she can handle you, I will try seeing if she can handle someone like me." He let me go and went and sat on one of the wooden benches. "I'm gonna change." I said as I began disappearing and taking my clothes off, I placed my top on and slid my shorts on after. "Shit! I really can't see you now." Harley laughed as she flinched. "But, let's see what I taught you stayed in that big noggin of yours."
