Jacob's POV:

It's been a month since I've last seen Ciara. I'm kind of glad she didn't come back to the club for her safety, also so I can get over her better. It wouldn't help at all if she keeps popping up in all my performances. A lot has happened this past few weeks. I've gotten closer to Stephane and farther away from Angela. Trevor hasn't been on my back for a while and things were going a little smoothly until one of our female dancers caught AIDS without knowing. Catherine, AKA "Sugar Lips" is one of the biggest hoes out of all males and females. She's slept with every guy in this business except me, plus Angela won't let me out of her sight so I have to hide from her. Anyways, she's caught AIDS from one of the men at the club and sleep with two other guys in our squad after that without protection. So now three people have AIDS and Catherine is pregnant by one of the three guys she had sex with and we still don't know who the father is. Plus one of the guys in our squad had sex with some random chick in the club and gave her AIDS. Now, Trevor's being sued for sexually transmitted diseases and for not making sure his dancers are clean. After all that Trevor made every single one of us take multiple tests to make sure the rest of us are clean. He made it a rule for us to be checked twice every month.

Trevor's been so busy coping with his trial that he hasn't had any time to check up on me. To be fairly honest, this whole situation is amusing on my part, and Stephane's part. Trevor could be like this for a while, who knows how long it'll take for everything to blow over. As long as he stays out of my way, there's one less person that aggravates me, and I'd like to keep it that way.

I was in the backstage movie room with Stephane. The Ballroom is like a huge mansion, we all live there. Not only does it have a bar and showcase room downstairs, but it also has fifteen bedrooms, a movie room, a huge kitchen, ten bathrooms, a dance room for rehearsals, a indoor pool and a outdoor pool behind the building. This place has everything you need and more. Plus, the star dancers, Angela, Peaches, and I have the biggest rooms with an indoor bathroom and two walk in closets. Don't get me wrong, Trevor treats us right, but he could also be a blackmailing, bastard hustler. Stephane and I were watching Hangover 2 and were laughing our asses off. When the movie finished, and we were watching the end credits, Stephane turned to me. "Jacob, I-I've been thinking about something." She took a shaky berth and I looked her way.

"I hate it here, Jacob, and you hate it here too. Trevor's been so busy with the lawsuit and arranging shows that he's barely even thinking about us. We should take this time to just leave, get out of here and start new lives." I looked at her like she was one of those bearded ladies from the circus.

"Stephane, have you lost your fucking mind! We can't escape from here, Trevor might be a little caught up but he's not a dumbass!" I whispered angrily. I can see that Stephane was taken back from my extremely livid tone. I composed myself and sighed deeply, then I took Stephane by her shoulders. "Look, I'm sorry for yelling at you, but trying to escape from Trevor is like trying to get that one annoying pimple off your face. No matter how many products you put on it, it would still be there, and then when you finally get rid of it, it comes back. Plus it's too risky and I don't want to lose anyone else. You're the only friend I have."

She nodded. "I know Jacob but I had a huge reality check last night; when I was about to have sex with this guy, something kept me from kissing him and it wasn't his breath. I realized that I don't know what to do with my life; who I want to be, where I want to go.

I don't want to live this way anymore Jacob, my mind is set and if you don't want to do this with me I'll do it myself." I looked into her sparkling deep blue eyes and slowly leaned in, she followed and we both engulfed each other in a long, passionate kiss. Something came over me; I felt like I just had to do it. I held her face and she put one hand I my shoulder, we kissed for forty-five seconds until I bounced back to reality and pulled away. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at me as I stared at her surprised, confused and a little horny. "I'm sorry I don't know why I did that." I explained but she shook her head. "It's okay Jacob. I was hopping that response was a yes?" I sighed inwardly. "No, I can't risk it. Although, I'd still help you escape, I don't want you to live your life in captivity ever again." She took a deep breath and agreed.

"Okay Jacob, okay."
