"ouch"
"quédate quieto" * Hold still*
"tal vez si no estuvieras frotando tan fuerte que no dolería" *maybe if you weren't dabbing so hard it wouldn't hurt.
"entonces tal vez no deberías haberte metido en una pelea" * Then maybe you shouldn't have gotten into a fight*
I came home after jumping into a fight and my sister immediately rushed to my aid like always. Honestly I get into so many fights i'm surprised she still gets concerned when I come home all scarred and bloody. But she does she is always there and she always helps even though I bitch about it about twenty four seven.
"Todo listo" *all done*
"gracias" *thank you*
"sí lo que sea" * yeah whatever* I laugh and get up grunting a little from the pain in my side and my shoulder. I'll have to give it to those guys they can throw some hard ass punches but, so can I and I promise they didn't leave without some scars and bruises themselves. I'm about to jump into the shower when my phone rings. Its Angel.
"Hello"
"Hello" This voice is really girly to be Angels.
" Angel bro you sick or something you sound like your annoying sister"
"Well i'll have you know that i'm not annoying and he is not sick I am" Its Savanna great.
"What do you want Savanna?"
" I want you to tell me why you got into a fight and why my friends won't leave me alone about it."
" I refuse to tell you why I got into a fight because you should know and the second answer is quite simple. All your friends have a crush on me."
"Yeah ok buddy"
" Stop stealing my line"
" Its not yours"
" It most defiantly is mine, I came up with it"
" Yeah ok buddy"
" I swear to god Savanna"
" Gotta run bye buddy" I start to say something but she had already hung up. " Well ok then"

Its the middle of the night when I get woken up by loud screaming and yelling. Its my parents. They do this all the time. My mom will wake up and decide that the reason we are all going to get deported is because of my dad bringing us here in the first place. The argument acures every time. The same yelling, the same screaming, the same throwing things and the same curse words. And every time this happens I go and get my sister and we sneak out. That's what i'm doing right now. I'm in my sisters room and we are climbing through her bedroom window. We go to my car. We both get in without a word and drive to our favorite place. I get out but I turn around when I don't hear the the other door opening.
"Sis, you coming?" I don't get an answer so I go to her side and open the door. She is on the floor with her head in her hands on the seat. Her body is shaking and I can tell she is crying. I don't say anything I just wrap my arms around her letting her sob into my chest.
" Why?" I know what she means but I don't say or do anything to answer. " why do they always fight? Why do we have to live in the fear of being deported?"
Her tears are coming more rapidly now and all I can do is stare into the distance holding her.
When she finally stops crying we head in and I don't let her order. I order us both two jumbo ice cream bowls but I make sure she gets an extra scoop and extra whip cream. She shots me a small smile as I say the order to the waitress and I give her one back but mine... mine is different. Mine is the kind saying " I'm not happy at all but I don't want you to feel alone so i'm trying to make you feel better." She knows it too because she looks down at the ground.
When the ice cream comes I give her my cherry even though its my favorite part. We don't talk at all we eat our ice cream. We don't need to talk because there is nothing to say. Everything was explained in the car when I sat and held my little sister while she cried her eyes out.
When we are done we get back into the car and head home. " Do you think they are still fighting?"
"No, they have usually stopped by now and are just sitting in the living room not talking to one another."
" I know but today they seemed super mad"
" They are just stressed sis that's all" She turns and looks at me her eyes moist. She looks so innocent. I sigh.
"We are not going to get deported sis"
"Ok..."
" Nah nah nah its OK BUDDY" She lets out a small laugh at my stupidness.
" You're so silly"
" I know" I flash my classic i'm cute as fuck and you know it smile. She laughs and then we drive the rest of the way in silence but, its that good silence its that silence that everyone needs.

I come to school the next day with a black eye and a bashed up lip. When me and Jemina got home our parents where not done fighting. In fact it had gotten worse. My dad was yelling and banging his fists into the wall while my mother was crying in the corner. I left J in her room and went down stairs. My dad was mad. He was so mad that when we saw me he lashed out. He tried to hit me but my mom got up and grabbed his arm. He pushed her back and she flew against the wall. I gritted my teeth and swung for him. I got a pretty good knock to his chest but he threw several punches back. He got me on the ground. The whole time my mom was screaming for him to stop. But he didn't.
I looked up and saw my sister on the steps. She was crying and about to run to try to save me. " No" I looked her straight in the eyes and she got the message. She stayed put while I let our dad beat the fuck out of me.
After he had calmed down he stomped up stairs and he had slammed the door shut. I couldn't get up my legs felt numb and so did my whole face. My sister ran straight for the kitchen but that's all I remember because I blacked out.
When I walk into the cafe I get looks from everyone but I don't care. I never do.
I sit next to Axel. " Rough night agian?"
" Yeah" He doesn't say anything else and neither do I. Whats there to say? Oh hey my dad beat the fuck out of me in front of my mom and my sister and I was too much of a pussy to fight back. Yeah, no.
Angel walks in with Savanna. I lay my face down. Its not like Savanna hasn't seen my battle wounds because she has but, today's are worse then they have ever been.
" Hey buddy" She sits across from me. I look up and as soon as I do I regret it because of the look on her face.
What do you guys think? Bad huh? Don't worry i've got some tricks up my sleeve you will see. -Jacob Keene
