I flip out. I don't know if I should call my parents or wait for the cops to. I go and talk to the cops, and see if I can talk to my brother. They tell me I have to wait until they bring him tot he jail place and he uses his one call.
I take Carter home, he was getting really annoying with the questions and such.
When I dropped Carter home, I went home and waited for the call, every text I got I had to ignore because I knew it wasn't him.

After hours of waiting, (at least it felt like it) my home phone rang. I answered immediately.
"Hello?'
"Hi, is mom or dad home?" he said sounding like he was about to bust out crying.
"Carson what the hell were you thinking? You just turned 15 and just got a car. You're such an idiot." I was so pissed. Where would he even get a gun?!
Mom and Dad walked in.
"Is it him?" Mom said walking toward me.
"Yeah." I say handing her the phone. She waited for a little bit, I knew he was probably begging her to bail him out or something along those lines, then she finally started talking.
"NO! We're not going to do that. You have to learn from your mistakes and the way you do that is to face what you've done. We'll come see you tomorrow. Bye." and she hung up the phone.
"God, I am so pissed. What do we do? My 15 year old son brought a God damn gun to school." my mom told my dad.
"We're going to go visit him tomorrow. Plus he's only in jail for 4 weeks.
"4 WEEKS?! HOW IN THE HELL COULD A 15 YEAR OLD SURVIVE IN JAIL?! TELL ME THAT SCOTT!"
"Honey... it's not like a regular jail, more like juvey. He'll be fine. I promise.

We went and visited him the next day. First it was my parents turn. Then it was mine.
"You have to get me out of here..." my brother whispered.
"And how would I do that OR WHY would I do that?"
"Get a job..." he continued, "or rob a bank. I don't know just please get me..." he noticed my parents behind me listening to everything he says.
"Could you guys please give us alone time?" I told them. They walked outside to the car.
"Okay. I guess. I'll try my hardest. I'll get a job." I said as I walked up.
"Thank you so so much. I owe you."
No shit." I said walking away.
When I walked out, I asked the officer that watches him or whatever how much it is to bail him out.
The answer shocked me.
