Seungmin's POV

I was worried out of my mind as I grabbed a random bottle of strawberry milk and gulped it down. As soon as I heard the door open, I ran over but was shocked to see her, smiling?

"Is everything alright?", I said but all she does is smiles more and nods. "You did not. Y/N. Think about-"

"No.. We're not back together.. I'm just happy that I got to end it all nice. I think he might be a little hurt but he'll get over it." She says. Why would he be hurt?

"Wait.. Then what happened?"

"He said.. He loved me. But I couldn't accept his feelings," Minho loved her? How can that be? I love her. Wait what? What did I just say? I stare down at the ground, confusing myself with my thoughts. Yeah. I liked her on and off throughout our friendship but.. I scoff, speechless. All this time, it wasn't that I hated her with Minho. I hated her with guys, in general. She noticed me being out of it as she walks over. "Is there something bothering you?" She asks but I quickly shake my head.

"No.. Sorry. I was just trying to process everything. Good for you, Y/N.. I think you made a good decision." I said. She smiles cutely before stretching out her arms.

"We have school tomorrow so I should probably go home and finish my homework." I nod my head and hug her.

"Do you need a ride?" I offered but she shook her head, smiling.

"I think I need a walk. Thanks, Minnie.. You really are the greatest best friend I could ever have." She says. Why did her calling me her best friend hurt more than usual? She gathers her things and starts to get ready to leave.

Y/N's POV

As soon as I walked into my house, I see my dad pacing around the living room.

"What's wrong, father?" I said as he notices me.

"Hey, sweetheart. Your mother seems to have sent us an invitation." He says, angrily pointing to the envelope on the table. I slowly grab and take a look at the card. Baby shower?!

"Father.. Are we going to it?" I said. I was happy to see her because it's been so long but a baby? She's only been married for two years. Yeah, she's pretty young as my mom but that doesn't make it any less weird.

"Y/N. You really think I'm going to it? I'll just send one of our butlers take a gift and that's it."

"Isn't that a little childish, father?" I said as he sighed, placing his hand on his forehead.

"Fine. Would you like to go instead?" He says as he stared at me. I gulp a little but nod my head.

"I will give them my congratulations and greet them well." I said. He sighs before grabbing an envelope of something else.

"Here's some money. Why don't you take a thousand for yourself and give the rest to your mother? Take a friend if you want. Maybe that boy will go with you. That dog looking one." He says before heading into his office. It's called a puppy, dude. I take a look at the inside of it and gape at the amount inside. I take a thousand out like he said and put it in my wallet. There has to at least be five thousand in there. He really.. I sighed before walking up to my room. I stopped calling him 'dad' since all the fighting started. My mother cheated on him and left him for another guy. End of story. But she was still my mom.

--- A Few Days Later ---

"Hey, Minnie!" I said, waving my hand. Seeing Seungmin heading towards me, I run over until I bump into someone.

"Sorry.."

"Watch wear you're going. Ha.. No wonder Minho dumped you. You really thought he liked you. God, what a loser." One of the girls say. I scoff at them but before I could say anything else, Seungmin comes along.
