Melanie looked around her and Lexi’s room. It was huge. It was a giant room with carpet as white as snow. There was a couch and one chair with a coffee table with spy guns and other weapons in it, also a flat screen TV but when they turned it on it only showed surveillance of the hallway and all around the I.S.A. and a button if they needed anyone they could face chat with them. There were two rooms, one on each side of the giant room. Melanie and Lexi ran towards the one on the left. When they opened the door they saw a big room the floor covered in mats. Two boxing bags, weapon training, and another obstacle course filled the room. This was smaller than the main training room. Still amazing how they did it. They practically glided to the rooms on the right. When Melanie opened the door she saw the biggest room ever. The walls were a grayish black and there were two queen sized beds on the opposite sides of the room. One bed was red with black and the other red with grey. “Agency colors” mom explained. The room was like two of Melanie’s. Except there two closets. Melanie walked over and opened the closet door. The closet was filled with black clothes and Melanie’s clothes. How did she get my clothes here? Melanie thought to herself. Her mom excused herself and I was alone with Lexi. “Well, do you want to train” Lexi asked. Melanie sat down on the bed that was red and gray furthest away from the door. “Oh, Sure I’ll be right there.”Melanie replied. Lexi walked out of the room while Melanie tried to take it all in. This was her life now. She wanted more than anything to talk to Ashley right then. She got up and walked into the main room when a knock at the door came. Melanie panicked, so she went to the TV and checked who it was. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Will, but what would he want? She strode to the door when Lexi popped her head out of the training center. “Remember what mom said! Open it just a crack!” Lexi said cheerfully. Melanie nodded to acknowledge her. So Melanie went to the door and barely cracked it. “Yes?” Melanie asked. “I’m in need of something you have” Will said looking troubled. Melanie was thinking it was a joke. “Wow, your better than I thought. Now go back to your room.” Melanie said laughing. But she stopped when she saw that Will didn’t look like he was joking. “What happened” Melanie said in a determined voice. “I need your cell phone” Will asked. “Ok, why” Melanie replied. “I need to call someone about my roommate. Just come to my room” Will said in aggravation. Melanie told Lexi where she was going and then left. Will had a shuffle in his step all the way to his room. When he unlocked the door and stepped in all Melanie saw was stuff everywhere. Then a tall black haired teen stepped out of the bathroom. He was built but not that much. He looked like he was all ego. Melanie looked at him like he was crazy. “Whoa, who’s the girl? Man I told you to never bring anyone into the room…..but I’ll accept her.” The boy said. He didn’t try to hide a southern accent. Melanie didn’t know what to think. “My names Melanie, you two getting along ok, I heard a crash so I walked all the way from my room to see Will standing outside his door.” Melanie said lying very well. The boy didn’t seem to notice. The room reeked of body odor and soda. The boy was so quick to respond Melanie didn’t have time to think straight. “Nothing’s going on but since you wondering about that I’ll tell you my name if It’s any help, it’s Ben” Melanie thought she was going to faint because of the smell. “Why were you barley opening your door” Will asked curiously. Melanie didn’t know what to say. She didn’t have time to think about what she would say it just came out to quickly. “My room was so small it looked weird. You don’t want to see it.” Will and Ben seemed to consider this. Melanie felt horrible, she realized she just lied again. “That makes me want to see it more, especially since you share the room with Lexi. I think you’re prettier though.” Ben said. Melanie knew he was lying. She rolled her eyes. It wasn’t that hard to tell. Why was Ben acting all nice to her? The door opened behind them and a familiar voice yelled in the room. “Ok Will, where did you put it- whoa, Melanie why are you here” It was Alex. “Love you to, Alex. I heard a crash and wanted to investigate” Melanie said. Melanie looked at the other two boys in the room Ben was trying to think, giving Melanie a troubling look. “He’s my brother” She quickly explained. Ben seemed to think it to as the realization swept over his face. “What time is it?” Melanie asked. Alex gave a shrug and so did Will. It had to be getting late. Ben finally looked at his wrist and said “its 9:38”. He gave Melanie a smile that made her uncomfortable. She was trying to find in her mind a reason to leave. “Uh…..I ……I gotta go….get to bed, it’s late.”Melanie stumbled with her words. What was she doing? She sounded so stupid. Alex took hold of the situation by talking to Will again. “Where did you put it! Give it to me now or ill punch your nose and break it.” Alex didn’t seem to notice how strong his words were. Melanie wondered what Alex was obsessing about. She quickly stepped out of the room when Will said make me. She almost ran to her room. When she got to her room Lexi was talking to their mom. “Oh, Melanie’s here.” Lexi said as Melanie came into camera view. Melanie thought having a big room was like amazing but just not her. She didn’t want it. “You girls will be training in your own room tomorrow. I will be there to train you. Wake up before I get there is all my advice. Love you gotta go!” Lexi almost turned the chat off when Melanie said “Where’s dad?” She wanted to know. No one has even mentioned him since she got there. It didn’t hurt asking. “He is busy” mom explained. Melanie said goodnight to her mom and went to bed. She just wanted to sleep. Sleep it all off. When she woke up she thought someone was attacking her. Then someone pushed her head into her pillow. Melanie panicked. What could she do? Her attacker was holding her hands behind her back. She put all her strength into kicking her legs up and kicking her attacker in the head. It all happened in a split second she didn’t know what she did. The pressure on her head was released and Melanie took that moment to jump out of her bed and punch her attacker in the stomach. The room was pitch black, so she couldn’t see who it was. A rush of pain came to her when her attacker kicked her in the head. She immediately returned the action and the attacker was on the floor. Melanie kicked the attacker in the gut and heard a male gasp followed by a groan. She hesitated; she didn’t know what to do but the door opened and two figures stepped in and the door closed. All Melanie could do was listen. She stood ready to attack anything. Then a rush of wind came by her face and that was all it took to set her off. She swung a punch and felt it contact what felt like a nose and then pain shot through her arm as a sharp object sliced across her arm. Her arm felt warm. She knew it must be blood. Melanie couldn’t do blood. It creped her out to much. Someone tried to tackle her but she quickly avoided it by slamming her head into one of the attackers face. She heard pounding on the door and then one of the attackers say something to the other. Then she was elbowed in the lunges and she crumbled to the floor. The fight wasn’t over yet. She got up turned and did something she never thought she could do. She jumped up in the air rolled over one of her attacker’s heads and kicked one knocking them out and landing almost perfectly in a squatting position. “Two down one to go” Melanie said to herself. Punch after punch kick after kick Melanie threw at the third attacker she threw one more punch and she didn’t fell any presence in the room. Silence. Something was wrong. They couldn’t just leave. Suddenly a cloth was pressed against her nose and mouth. Her mind was saying breath and her action was no breathing but run for the door. She sprinted to the door and barely touched the door knob when someone from behind tackled her. They tried to pull her back but she kicked them in the face. Melanie heard one swear and another sliced her ankle. Melanie let out a small yelp but quickly swallowed it when her ankles were released and she knew it was over. She wasn’t safe till she got to the door. She got up and almost fell over because of the pain but she pushed herself and reached the door and yanked it open and found Justin, Will and Alex standing there about to pound on the door again. Justin immediately pulled Melanie into a hug. His voice was so warm in her ear she almost died “Your safe now.” Melanie wanted to look like she wasn’t hurt. She looked down at her sliced arm and ankle. She saw how bruised her legs were and was horrified to think of her face. Alex did a low chuckle when he noticed. Will came by there side and helped Justin take Melanie to the medical center in the underground building. Alex came running behind them after a minute with panic in his face and handed a note to Justin. Melanie didn’t care at that moment. Alex was asking her a question but she couldn’t hear anything because her mind was racing as is. When they finally reached the medic center they were met by Melanie’s mom. “Are you ok Melanie?” Mom asked with concern. Melanie was almost in tears. What just happened? Melanie said prayer of thankfulness to God for saving her life. “I’m fine. Honestly” Melanie said to her mother. She didn’t feel fine. She felt beaten and sliced. After the I.S.A. medics got Melanie back in one piece, she was told to rest. She felt sleep overcome her and she was out.

Justin was sitting outside Melanie’s room. Why couldn’t he get into Melanie’s room when she was getting attacked? It was his entire fault he thought. Well she is safe now. He couldn’t get into that room. Why? Justin continued to think when he remembered the note. He pulled it out of his pocket and opened it. He stared in rage as he read it.
