I didn't really mind being awoken by my clock, the opposite actually. I was kind of used to it. But it was something about that particular Monday morning that made me want to lay back down on my bed and sleep, or actually, wake up and play video games with a certain Australian twat.

Or maybe it was the fact that Calum, my best mate, was jumping up and down on my bed.

"Calum, stop." I groaned, trying to turn to my side and ending up falling off my bed.

"Michael Gordon Clifford wake the fuck up or  I'm going to make you." Calum threatened me and I groaned again. I hate everyone.

Calum jumped off my bed and walked up to me, as he tried to lift me up by my shoulders. "Michael you're not making this any easy for me mate." He groaned, not able to get me up. "Is it because I'm fat." I said, not even making it a question as Calum laughed. "I just really don't want to be late for school again Mike, come on."

I finally stopped teasing Calum and made my way (a/n downtown) to my closet, as I fiddled with my clothes until I grabbed my usual skinny jeans and a white Metallica shirt. I quickly put them on, as I looked at my reflection in the mirror and almost winced at the sight of myself. Oh well, I sighed.

I walked downstairs, finding my mum and Calum in the kitchen island having breakfast and I sat down next to Cal.

"Good moring mum." I said and smiled at her. "You flip me off but talk sweet to your mum, I see how it is Clifford." Calum mumbled and I ignored him as my mum smiled back at me and sipped her coffee. "Morning sweety. Were you up all night yesterday again playing video games? I can see bags under your eyes." But they're always there, I wanted to tell her but I kept my mouth shut.

"Gotta go, bye!" i said quickly and grabbed Calum from his backpack. "Bye miss Caren!" he yelled as my mum sighed at me but smiled at Calum.

"You're like in love with my mum I swear." I mumbled and he rolled his eyes. "Whatever Clifford. Just drive me to school."

School was the same as usual. Nothing much happened, not me at least. I was just with Calum and a couple other guys we hung out with during lunch period. Nobody really acknowledged me at school but I didn't mind. I didn't like attention.

I was now sitting at lunch with Calum, Jack and Alex who were a couple. We didn't really hang out, just sit at lunch and say whatever popped into our minds.

I grabbed my phone and started texting Annie and Dandy, almost forgetting I was supposed to be mad at them.
