Kind of short

  You stare at the ceiling and hug your stomach. Feeling fear and anxiety runing through your veins. Your thoughts only wondering how Ichigo is doing. You know he is a soul reaper because he once saved your life.

  It was back when he first became a soul reaper. It was a silent night, the wind was still and the moon was shining through the night. You had woke up and you went downstairs to get a glass of water. You turned when you heard a growl, turning slowly you saw nothing.

  Suddenly, you get grabbed from the other side of the wall and pulled you through the wall. You screamed,  fearing what grabbed you. Looking up you saw a beast with fearful yellow eyes and a white face. It's body was a fearful black and its grip tight.

"Help!" You screamed.

"No one is going to help you girl," the beast snared. "I'm going to enjoy ripping you limb to limb."

"Put me down!" You screamed as you thrashed in its hand.

"Oi!" A sudden voice says. You look around until you see your friend, Ichigo wearing some get up.

"Ichigo?" You ask aloud.

"Soul reaper," the beast growls as its tight grip gets even tighter causing you to pant for breath.

"Put her down!" Ichigo yells as he charges the beast.

  It was a quick fight and Ichigo managed to save your life. He explained everything to you and he gave you a place to stay for the night. You met the real Rukia and you learned of the real world. You slept in his bed that night and it was the best sleep you ever got. Three weeks later you still had bruises from the hollow because of its tight grip. Ichigo beat himself up for it.

  That's the past though, years even. You sleep away from the wall now and you are very cautious when it comes to noises. You were very traumatized from the hollow incident. You take meds to help with the PTSD and the world things that a car had hit your house and managed to hit you. Although they couldn't explain the bruises on your body.

  At the moment, you are in your bed staring at the ceiling. The anxiety pulsing through your veins and the fear in your heart. You and Ichigo have a close relationship, a friendship.

"Ichigo," you mutter softly.

  You get up and you walk downstairs. Hearing the growl of a hollow you immediately run away from the wall but it was futile. The hollow grabbed you and it gripped you tightly.

"Not again!" You scream. "Ichigo!"

"Your knight won't be saving you today," it laughs sadistically. You thrash in its hold and you hear a yell before you black out.

"Y/N! Y/N can you hear me?" A voice says ringing in your ears. You open your eyes slowly and you see a blur of orange hair.

"Ichigo. . .," you say softly as the words cut in your throat.

"Stay with me!" He screams as his hands comb back your hair. His lips touch your forehead as he cradles your body closely to his. "Don't leave me!"

"Ichigo we're losing her!" Orihime yells as she does her best to heal your failing body.

  Your body lays in Ichigo's lap as his tears fall on your face. Your body is cut and bruises. The wounds were caused by the hollow as it trashed you and decided to torment you in front of Ichigo.

"Ichigo. . .," you mutter as you drift back to the black veil.

  You wake up and you notice that you're in a hospital room. You breathe  sharply and you look around the room. Blinking the tears away, you see a orange haired man walk in the room. He drops the flowers he was carrying and he rushes to your side.

"I thought you were dead!" He shouts as he carefully hugs you.

"I'm right here," you say as you look into his brown eyes.

  He kisses your lips without a second thought. You kiss back and you hold the base of his neck, pulling him closer to you. When he let's go, his warm tears stray onto your face as his forehead connects to you.

"What was that for?" You ask.

"I love you damn it!" He says.

"What?" You gasp softly.

"I almost lost you...," he states as his tears continue to stride. "I can't lose you."

"I'm sorry," you say. "Do you know why they're after me?"

"Yes. You're a (insert what you'd like to be)," he says as his eyes avert yours.

"Apparently," you mutter.

"I will protect you," he says as he cries. "I won't lose you again."

"I love you too strawberry."
