What Earth Was Like in the Past

In the beginning everything everywhere was peaceful
Earth had been better than ever, life was thriving. Solutions to hunger and almost every disease had been created.

Sounds great right? Well everything changed and I Landon the Grand Spectral,one of the most powerful beings in the universe are going to tell you about it.

See it all started in Canada when beams of dark energy started bursting through the ground destroying the once peaceful area. People were killed, others became consumed by the darkness and turned into shadow monsters. Afterwards U.S and Russian forces were deployed to fight the dark army as they were called. This was the year 2022 and we were not ready for this type of thing to happen. The Dark Army had all sorts of powers. Telekenisis, manipulation of shadows, teleportation, stealing others life force, shooting beams of pure dark energy, and worst of all the ability to devour you and turn you into one of them. The Dark army was lead by 5 beings of pure evil. Hwer of the north(a master of shadow manipulation),chythe of the east(master of teleportation), xereo of the south(master of life ciphoning),cybil of the west(a master of poesession), and yter(the leader and a master of destruction and death). Yter was the leader of the darkness. He was as huge as an entire planet and was made up of shadows.In order to stop the endless army he had to die, or rather be sealed away. This is when advanced warfame came to hand. A nuclear bomb was made that accidentally went of while being transpoted giving certain people super human abilities. These people were assisted by the opposing force of the darkness the light. Together the Superhumans and the Light sealed the darkness away in an orb made from the center of the sun. In order for this to happen the light had to buy time for the superhumans to get off of Earth as the sun orb would create am enormous explosion. The light used their souls to power a rocketship made from advanced technology to escape. The light didn't want to fade completly so they gave their powers to certain humans that would be passed down from generation to generation. The spectrals. There were 8 of them at a time, 1 for each of the vessels of light.

300 years after the blast the spectrals who had first taken form of the new babies who were born, Once the surviving members from earth escaped to a planet called aeosis. The planet, was well corrupt. The superhumans had taken power seizing control. However they feared the spectrals,all of them. The one thing everyone feared the most was the Grand Spectral. The Grand Spectral had the powers of all of the other spectrals plus one of their own. The spectrals would be killed if they did not leave aeosis, so one night the current reigning spectrals were sent off of the planet secretly back to the devastated earth. This greatly pissed the ruler of Aeosis who is named King Mayhem off. He was planning to kill all of the spectrals so his reign would be uninterrupted, until his death from old age. The most powerful superhuman gained the throne by becoming victorious in battle against everyone else. King Mayhem was going to put a bubble shield of energy around the plannet so no one would escape. Fortunately the spectrals made it out of Aeosis in time with the help of a wise old man named bithmnton.

The 8 spectrals who were 13-15 at the time laid their first sight at the devastated Earth. They had been sent back to protect the planet, restore it, and repopulate it. Suprisingly for them they were not the only ones there. During the survior's time on Aeosis, there had actually been a war on Earth between those who were left behind. Apparently they has tried to seize the power of the darkness by cracking open the ball of sun and taking advantage of the forgotten technology. The war was messy, as a bio plague was released that entered your lungs, and made your body and mind turn psychotic. Your skin turned a sick fleshy yellow color and your became resistant to pain. And of course it gave those infected the power to let out the infectious gas, have super strength, super speed, improved senses, and nuclear powers.
The planet was odd now, parts of it were still at war while others were finally at peace. Coorperations were also made to harness the power of the dark or even "the light".

I was born 200 years after earth had been reinhabited by the spectrals. I was not born a spectral, but you become one if you were the next chosen host of light. This was 500 years after the initial start of this whole mess. The date was September 19th, 2522. I lived in a part of Earth that was peaceful. The people in our community were aware of the events of the darkness, but no one really cared. I woke up after my alarm went off. I went to brush my teeth to get ready for school. Yes, we had school, just because there was a war doesn't stop that. I looked in the mirror. I hated my face, it was so pale and scarred with acne. I did however love my gleeming white teeth and well kept hair. My mother made digitized glacier coffee and soulberry salad. I hated coffee but I loved the salad. I was a vegetarian, not because of "save the environment" B.S. but because it was healthy. I wished my mother farewell and jumped on the floating bus. I was the last pick up so it now traveled at the speed of light. I hated school, I was bullied. All the kids were real jerks... but I pushed through it anyways.
Later at School
"Hey Sunstone,stop being a little uer and fight me".
"Why do you have to bother me, and call me by my lass name?"I turned to see it was my bully, Eli. I used to love my last named Sunstone but I now hated it because of him.
Eli was with his 2 friends who I did not even know. He walked over and shoved me to the ground.
"Uer" Eli laughed. I hated that word, it meant you are basically a walking vessel of darkness. I stood up to see him turn to me and I socked him right in his throat.
"God did I enjoy that" I laughed. I know I was no better for hitting him back, but he was horrible. Eli got up, gasping for air. He went to punch me.... but something happened. I was embracing for impact but suddendly he was blasted back. I started levatating off the ground. I looked up to see a ship carrying me with some tractor beam.

I had been abducted by the Darkness Restoration company. Pretty much how it sounded. They wanted to harness the power of the darkness after they brought it back into the world. I feared for my life. I looked in a haze to see something I never thought I would see, the sight scared me. I looked over to see a chained up man who bare the mark of the grand spectral. What was happening?What was I doing here. What did the company want from me?
