Six

<Kaycees POV>

Hopping into Tahanis car, we drove back to my house first, to grab some overnight clothes. I picked out a pair of sweatpants, a black T-shirt and a weirdo hoodie, along with other essentials. Feeling convinced that I took everything I needed, I hopped back into Tahani's car and  we drove back to her house. We baked some cookies which definitely turned into a flour fight and then we took turns taking a shower. 

We made this giant tent out of pillows and blankets which felt nostalgic, and then we huddled up under it.

' so K, why don't you want to go to the party tomorrow'

Feeling annoyed, I let out a huff before replying, ' I told you T, I'm just not a party person'.

'Nonsense, that's the biggest bullshit, I've  heard all day. Tell me K. We're practically like sister', tahani said rolling around under the tent grabbing my legs, begging me.

' I don't know what the real reason is honestly but I think itmighthavesomethingtodowithTate' I replied muffling up the last few words as I said it really fast. 

Trying to process what I just said, Tahani scrunched up her face, before letting out an 'oh'. 

'What's wrong with Tate? Do you not like her?'

'No, no,no,no that's not it, T, I like Tate a lot, of course I do, but-'

'But..'

'I guess I just feel-'

'Feel...'

'Like-'

'Like...'

'Damn T, will just let me speak,' I asked annoyed.

' okay, damn girl. I was just playing' Tahani said letting out a chuckle.

' sorry T, I dint mean to yell'.

'That's quite alright, but will I tell you what's not alright? The fact that your not telling me why your do not want to go to the party.'

Rolling my eyes, I put my hands up in surrender, ' okay listen now. Pfhh.. so you know the way I told you, Sean told me that he liked someone in the car ride to the dance studio'

Tahani nodded her head, as she bore her eyes into mine. Taking this is a yes, I continued. 'Well, I think that, that girl maybe Tate.' I said.

' what do you mean K, how'd you know?' Tahani asked surprised.

'Well, when Julian told us about Tate coming back, Sean just had this giant, and when I say giant , I mean giant smile on his face. And I don't think I've ever seen him smile so giantly,if that's a word'

'First of all, that's not a word and maybe he was just happy to hear he was coming back. I mean we were all smiling giantly'. Tahani said unsure 

' I don't know,but don't ever tell Sean I told you this, but before Tate left, Sean had a crush on her and they told each other how they felt. And I guess it's just a matter of time before their love for each other unfolds' I say.

Shaking her head, tahani said 'hm, lets not talk about this now. Let's just finish watching this movie, and tomorrow when we wake up we'll catch up with Bails and go buy us all and outfits' tahani screeched.

Turning the movie back on, the two of us laid on our stomachs as we watched 'Twilight'. Before I even knew it, I had fallen asleep and the sun had set.

. The Next morning .

I was jolted up from my sleep when I felt Tahani shaking me. She was definitely excitied. Glaring at her for waking me up, I stood up and stretched before sitting back down.
