"Okay boys, we have run into a little problem." Hugh cleared his throat, drawing the attention to the team and I as we stood patiently outside of the hotel we were supposed to be staying at.

I slowly put down my phone, after sending a few messages to my relatives back home. I hadnt talked o them in a few weeks.

"Whats the issue?" Dean grunted from behind us. I almost forgot that dude was here, he'd been quiet lately, despite being the assistant coach.

"They overbooked the hotel and they only have three rooms left... Apparently our rival team got all the rooms beforehand." Hugh grumbled in annoyance, "So that means we will have have to have six of you in each room. Can you boys handle sharing and probably snuggling together?" He sighed.

"Six? There's three rooms-" Louis whined, not liking the idea of bunching up.

"Me and Dean will be sharing a room together, seeing as we're the responsible adults." Hugh gestured to the Dean and himself, "And the rest of you can surely handle roughing it until the hotel can make changes." Hugh mumbled, before handing a key to Zayn, and then one to Liam, "You two can figure out who sleeps where."

I sighed, not at all looking forward to squeezing in the room with more than one other player. I still felt a little awkward around the team, since half of them have some opinions about me... especially Liam.

After all, he did say I was the whore of the team. I rolled my eyes as Zayn and Liam started to talk quietly with each other about who would sleep where.

Luke nudged me as he stood beside me, "You wanna go check out our rivals once the rooms are sorted?"

I pursed my lips, shrugging, "I dont know... its pretty late. Maybe theyre asleep-"

"Oh, dont be boring." Luke huffed, furrowing his brows as he gave me a look, "It wont be that hard to find a bunch of soccer players... theres a gym room here."

I scoffed, "Whatever... fine. But what are we going to do if we meet the rivals?"

I adjusted my bags over my shoulders as Luke scrunched his nose as he thought of something.

"Probably break their ankles? I dont know. I just want to know how these bitches got all the rooms." Luke chuckled, smiling a bit, "So?"

"Fine, but if I end up sleeping on the floor because there's no room when we get back, you'll be sorry." I warned playfully as Liam called us over.

"Hey guys, okay, so here's how its going to go." Liam cleared his throat as we gathered over, "Zayn, Louis, Harry, Calum, Justin and Luke in 116. While Harry, Niall, Michael, Josh, Ashton and I in 118."

Zayn grinned and wrapped an arm over Calum and Harry's shoulders, and I swallowed as my stomach twisted, was he doing this on purpose?

I shook my head out of those thoughts. Who cares about Zayn? Hes here to take my spot on the team, remember? It doesn't matter how good looking he is, or how much the idea of him and I spending countless hours at the back of the bus turned me on.

Get out of my head, Zayn.

I huffed as I walked alongside Luke, following Zayn and the others to our room.

As we finally arrived, Zayn unlocked the door and lead us inside.

There was two double beds, and a single along one wall of the room, with a joint bathroom across from it, ans well as a small lounge area with one long couch that could probably fit all of us, as long as none of us laid down; there was a decent sized TV in front of the couch, and then a small kitchen area, with a microwave and sink, with a small table.

The room was more like a family suite or something.

"Okay so two each on the double, someone on the single, and someone on the couch." Zayn announced after he scanned the room.

Luke and Calum suddenly broke into a sprint for the single bed, Calum somehow making it there a split second before, despite how long Luke's legs were.

Zayn laughed at the two of them fumbling over the bed while Harry and Louis fell onto a double bed together.

Before I could secure the couch for the night, Luke had rushed over to it after losing the bed to Calum.

Damn it, Luke.

"Guess that means we've got the double over there." Zayn licked his lips as he stared over at me, a smirk appearing on his smug face.

I huffed, "Uh, I guess so..."

I dropped my bag at the end of the double bed. Louis, Harry, Calum and Zayn began getting dressed for bed, so i looked over at Luke to see if he still wanted to go for that walk.

Luke smiled over at me, holding a finger up to his lips as he winked. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Oh shoot, you know what, I need to go talk privately with Coach, Justin can you come with me?" Luke said loudly, slipping his shoes back on.

Zayn looked over at us suspiciously as he sat on the bed we were going to share.

"Uh, sure." I shrugged, ignoring Zayn's stare.

Luke grabbed the key from Zayn as he led the way out of the room. I couldn't help but feel Zayn's eyes on me as we left.

"Why didnt you just tell them what we were doing?" I rose my brow at Luke, "Maybe some of them would have wanted to join."

Luke shook his head, leading the way down the hall towards the gym/spa area of the hotel, "No way... I dont think they'd want to see the rivals as much as us."

I furrowed my brows a little confused, "Why are we so interested in these rivals?"

Luke glanced down at me over his shoulder, shaking his head, "Didn't you hear what team we were playing?"

I scrunched my nose up, not even sure if I remember the coach telling us the name of the teams we had been playing... to be fair, i didnt care to listen when he announced those things anyway. Its just another bunch of random faces, all I cared about was beating the opposite team,.

"You really need to pay attention." Luke snorted at me, shaking his head at my obvious confusion, "S.B. Hooligans, Justin." Luke said as he opened the door to the gym.

I froze in my place at the name of the team... or should I say, the name of my old team.

"Wait, I thought they were back in America!" I hissed quietly, trying to retreat before I saw anybody from that team.

"Well, one of the other teams dropped out and they took their place. You really need to start listening to the meetings coach has." Luke ignored me as he pulled me with him, further into the gym.

Before I could escape Luke's grip, the sound of weights dropping to the floor caught our attention, and I felt my blood boil at who was staring intently over at us.

His piercing blue eyes were burning holes at me, but my brown eyes were doing the same back.

"Well, well, well. How nice is it to see you, Justy-boy?" Jason fucking McCann, the most infuriating, piece of shit, I had ever known...

"I hate you, Luke." I hissed, before glaring at my cousin, Jason, "If you get in my way at all during this game-"

"Oh please," Jason cut me off, slowly walking towards Luke and I, his fists clenched, "Dont forget how I can put you in your place." He growled lowly, and before I could count to three, he had grabbed me by my throat.

Sometimes family arent always close... Jason and I had a bit of a dark history. Alot of it revolved around playing soccer.

And I hated to admit, he was the hardest competition I've ever had, because I've never been able to beat him. And I probably never will.

As Jason slammed my back against the wall, I was suddenly starting to miss Zayn, oddly enough. Even though this situation had nothing to do with that raven haired bastard.

He'd possibly make everything worse. But part of me wondered if he'd protect me...
