Chapter 12

Jack's POV

I pace back and forth and lash out when people try to talk to me. Reality hits me.

'I'm going to ask her to marry me.' My mind reminds me. I sigh. What if she say's no? What if she doesn't think its time? So many things run through my head, but my attention is suddenly torn away when I see Luna and Sally walk through the door. Sally has a bright smile on her face and Luna looks tired. I laugh slightly.

"Hey, Lun. She ware you out?" I chuckled slightly, putting my hands on her waist. She turns to face me and leans her head on my chest, with her bum sticking out and nods fiercely. I patted her on the back and grabbed some of the bags for the party and set them on the table behind me. I sweep her off her feet bridal style and go to our bedroom. Her head is leaning on my chest and she is looking up at me.

"What?" I ask with a smirk on my face. She simply just lifts up my mask and say's

"I wanted to see you smile." She giggled. Like a little girl kind of giggle. That's the one thing I loved about her, she's so caring and loving. She always wants to make other people happy before herself.

I set her down on our bed and begin talking,

"So Luna, you excited for the party?" I ask, taking off my mask and setting it down on the dresser. She ignores me.

"Lun?" I lift an eyebrow. Why wont she answer me? Is she mad at me? She didn't seem like it a few minutes ago. Suddenly she spoke.

"I-I just never had a party before. I hate the a-attention all on me." She stammered. I laughed.

"How could you not love parties?" I took off my shirt and changed into a black button up and nicer skinny jeans, ones that aren't covered in blood. She shrugged.

"I don't know." she stated bluntly. I sighed.

"Why don't you go get ready, princess?" I kissed her cheek and she nodded. I watched her get up and walk to the bathroom. Before she walked in she turned around.

"Jack?"

"Hm?"

"Do you love me? Like really love me? Like you wanna be with me forever? I know I'm saying 'like' a lot but I just lik- I just want to know so I can make some decisions..." She rambled on.

"I just want-" She continued but I stopped her before she said anything else.

"Of course I do, Luna. How couldn't I love you? I get lost in your eye's and the way you say my name. The way you stammer when your scared or nervous. I love it all." I finished. I never shared something like that with anyone. It was a load off. She looked at me awe- struck. She jumped on me and kissed me deeply. She's never been this passionate before, and I loved every single moment of it.

When we pulled away for air I looked straight in her azure eyes, they glistened with love and care.

"I love you more than anything, Luna." I said, while my voice cracked.

"I love you too, Jack." A tear rolled down her cheek and i wiped it away with my thumb.

"Go get ready, Princess." I kissed her head and she nodded.

Luna's POV

I don't know why I asked that. I just never had anything like this and needed to be reassured that it was forever. I love him. He does the sweetest things sometimes. I shook my head and chuckled.

"Go get ready, Princess." He smirked. I nodded and kissed his cheek and went into the bathroom. I quickly stripped of my clothing and jumped in the shower and thought of my day.

I went dress shopping with Sally, who is like a daughter to me. I always think about having kids with Jack, but i know it's too soon. I mean I just turned 18 today. I turned the water off and got ready for tonight.

I curled my hair and ran my fingers through it. It felt so velvety and smooth. It smelt like christmas cookies and the ocean, mixed together. I inhaled the scent and went to my makeup bag. I ran my liquid eyeliner over my eyes and made a small wing towards to end. I put on a light coat of mascara and concealed everything i didn't want showing. As far as i was concerned, i looked beautiful. Sorry! I have self confidence man. I laughed at myself a little then sauntered over to my alluring black lace dress with skin toned heels.

I slid on the dress and looked on the mirror. I turned around and saw my bum.

"DAMN THAT ASS BOO!" Ben shouted from the door frame. I threw a pillow at him and slid on my heels.

"Get the hell out, perv!" I giggled. When I was about to run after him I tripped over my heels and feel on my bum. I looked up at Ben who was trying to control his laughter. I glared at him and walked downstairs where I saw Jack sitting on the couch tapping his foot nervously. What's up his ass?

"Hey Jack, what's wrong?" I asked, tilting my head concerningly.

"Noth-" Jack stopped mid sentence and looked me up and down. His breathing hitched and his eye's were locked on me. I felt the heat rise to my cheeks as i snapped my fingers in front of Jack, laughing.

"Y-you look beautiful, Luna." He stammered. We walked over, hand in hand, to go socialize with new people I hadn't met yet. Slenderman's brothers were here so i decided to talk to them first.

"Oh Darling! Do a spin for me!" A man that looked like Slendy but only he had a more, modern look on. A tan vest and white button up underneath with skinny jeans. I obeyed.

"I am trendorman and I have been DYING to meet you!" He wrapped me in a tight hug, I couldn't breathe.

I mouthed over to Jack, "Help me." But he just stood there laughing and shrugging his shoulders. Once trendorman released his gorilla grip slendy came over.

"Please brother, don't break her. We just got her. Plus I don't think Jack would be very happy with you." Slendy gestured over to Jack's hand around my waist. Trendorman giggled and walked off, but slendy face-palmed and tried to control his brother. I laughed.

"Thank you for this party, Jack" I smiled up at him. His smile was genial but a hint of nervous was in there as well.

"It gets even better." He seemed to regain his confidence.

Before I could question him, he got down on one knee. The music was suddenly lowered and Jack began to speak.

"Luna, You mean the world to me and I can not imagine living in a world without you,"

My eyes began to water and I gasped covering my mouth with my hands.

"I love you so much, and W-well," He stammered.

"I-I was hoping you'd be mine... forever." He pulled out a black velvet box and opened it. It looked like a scene from a romantic movie and I drooled over the beautiful words he said.

"Luna, Will you Marry me?"
