"Ano? Si Miguel?" Aibee exclaimed. Meron siyang facemask sa mukha ngayon pero hindi pa rin siya mapigilan magreact ng ganito "hindi ka ba niya tatantanan?"

I snorted "tatantanan? Never naman niya ako kinulit diba?"

"I mean, Ella, look, sa campus tapos sa work? Baka maging forever competition na kayo niyan"

"We are not competing this time. We are a team now"

"Ohhhhh interesting" she replied then sumandal siya sa unan niya

"Anong interesting?"

"Well, I almost forgot na binuhat ka nga niya pala nung nahimatay ka during PE 4"

I sighed "ayun na lang ba lagi mo maaalala?"

"Audience lang ako non pero I saw everyone's reaction. You two are in a competition tapos biglang takbo sayo si Migs, binuhat ka at dinala sa clinic?"

"Again, he's just being nice. Ano bang nangyari the next week after that?"

"Well, you're competing with him again"

"Wag mo kaming gawan ng issue"

"Issue? Hindi  ako nagsabi na may issue. Ikaw ang nagsabi na may issue"

"The hell Aibee Aragon anong nahithit mo sa clinic mo kanina?"

Then she laughed out loud "actually, my brain is tired right now, tapusin ko lang itong facemask and I will sleep ha? Kwento na lang ulit tayo later"

"Sige"I replied. Mas mabuti pa nga na matulog siya. Baka kung saan na naman mapunta usapan namin. 

I was really surprised when I saw Migs that time sa clinic. Of all the people siya yung least expect ko na nandoon. We are having a relay nung nahimatay ako and kami yung magkalaban that time

Pagmulat ko ng mata, I saw Migs na nakaupo sa monoblock sa dulo ng kama. I looked around and sa ceiling and..

"Wait" bigla akong napaupo sa kama "where are we?"

"Obviously, clinic" Migs replied "I don't know what happened but you passed-out kanina sa relay"

"Why are you here?"

"Because I brought you here" he looked at me. He looked so worn-out and medyo basa yung buhok niya

"Bakit ikaw nagdala sa akin dito?"

"Dahil ako lang tumulong sayo agad?" he sighed "you don't know how to say thanks? Atleast?"

"T-Thank you" I replied

He scoffed 

"Oh, nagpathank you na ako, ano pang gusto mo?"

"Kumain ka ba kanina before the relay?"

"Uhmm" I just realized na wala pa akong food intake until last night. Sa sobrang focus ko sa pagrereview for the midterms

"Figures" he said tapos he stood from the chair and walked towards me "I cannot believe you are not eating. How can you compete with me kung gutom ka?"he asked
