"K & M Marketing Firm" I muttered while typing it on search engine

Nanlaki mata ko nung nakita ko yung mga search engine results

DEA investigators found K & M Marketing positive for distributing LSD into the hands of their clients. LSD or Lysergic acid Diethylamide is one of the most commonly used hallucinogens, and the result from taking it is known as a "trip."

DEA investigators also found out several contact numbers and addresses in which they believed K & M Marketing Firm uses to contact their clients to deliver the said drug purchase. "We will conduct more investigation and we'll do our best to stop this drug purchasing incidents as soon as possible" says Markus Soliso, Head of DEA investigators "Also, we are very grateful to one of the founders of the firm who reported this dirty business. He promised to help us with the investigation".

The hell? Migs helped DEA investigator's about this drug issue? 

I searched thoroughly and found out that Senior Karl is currently inside the prison right now and....  life imprisonment? 

These happened and wala man lang akong idea? I mean, syempre. I have my life to live pero bakit hindi ko nalaman yung issue na ito?

I immediately ran back sa office and looked for Migs and found him inside the cafeteria. I ran towards him and nabigla siya nung nandoon na ako nakatayo sa harapan niya 

"Migs" I said and he looked at me 

"What?" he replied

I sat across him and I just looked at him 

"Have you done your research about our firm?" he asked and I nodded "and  you still have questions right now?"

"Paano mo nalaman na nagdidistribute si senior Karl ng..." I stopped because he looked at me 

"Kinausap niya ako about it and hindi ako pumayag. Kampante ako na hindi niya gagawin yon pero, matagal na pala niya ginagawa prior pa sa pakikipagusap niya sa akin. Ginawa kong lahat to expose him because it's the best thing to do"

I just nodded

"I don't want him to get hurt but at the same time, gusto kong pagsisihan niya yung ginawa niya"

"I-I'm glad you are okay" I suddenly said and nagkatinginan lang kami

He chuckled "it was hard, lalo na nung una, wala akong makuhang work after that, walang gustong tumanggap sa akin" he said and uminom siya ng tubig "until napapunta ako dito"

"I'm glad you got this job"

"Same. Iniisip ko na lang na they're different. I think everyone knows me here, hindi lang nila ako lagi pinaguusapan. Well, aside sa nangyari kahapon sa elevator"

"Wala ka namang kasalanan e. You even helped them with the investigation. Isa pang makarinig ako ng chismis about sayo, sasapakin ko bunganga nila" I said and I cannot believe na galit na  galit ako

Napatingin ako kay Migs and I saw na gulat na gulat siya sa sinabi ko

"Well, I mean... It's unethical to talk about someone diba lalo na if.." hindi ko na natapos yung sasabihin ko kasi bigla siyang tumawa ng malakas "problema mo?"

"Wala" he said then tumawa na naman siya "tell me the truth Ella"

"Ha?"

"Do you like me?"

"Ha? Anong pinagsasabi mo?"

"Sasapakin mo sa bunganga, sino? Yung mga nagchichismisan about me and the firm?" he asked "you'll go that hard to defend me? Why? You like me?"

"Like? Sino? Ikaw? Excuse me"

"If that's not the case then mind your own business. You don't need to go that far to defend me" he said and smiled 

I scoffed and nakatingin lang siya sa akin

"This ends our conversation about this issue, okay? Please don't ask me questions about this or don't show any concerns about me" he said with conviction and nilayasan niya agad ako

So, I was left dumbfounded dito sa cafeteria

Hindi ko kinaya yon. Concern lang naman ako as his blockmate e pero kung paano niya i-handle yung concern ko, feeling ko mali yung sinabi ko for him e

"Fine, I will not defend you" I muttered looking at his back
