"Alright everyone! We are taking a break here, so try and relax a bit while you still can!" Metaknight shouted across the field, much to the distaste of everyone unfortunate enough to be standing close to him at that very moment. Magolor complained "Ok ok, no need to yell about it though...!" "Exactly. What do you mean by that anyway, 'while you still can'? You better not put us in unnecessary trouble, ok Meta?" Susie added. Taranza merely sighed as a bit of an argument ensued between the three of them. "A break, huh..." he muttered. "Oh well...I might as well try and relax like he said...". Taranza quietly floated over to a nearby tree and rested his head against it before gazing into the afternoon's sky. As his thoughts started to drift away, he layed eyes on the petite yet elegant flowers surrounding him. 'Those flowers....' he thought 'why must everything remind me of you...' He eventually got lost in thoughts and memories alike.

--------------------------------------------------------------

A young spider headed for the door of his small home created with webs and other materials, shortly before stopping and turning around to grab his scarf. It was a very long, fluffy, red scarf that he had held onto for quite a while. The spider boy put it on carefully and then left his home. He floated across his usual morning walk on Floralia, his homeworld. Nothing was out of the ordinary. The wind was as chilly as usual, the flowers were still in bloom and everything seemed peaceful. Until....

"I-I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to disturb you!" The spider boy turned to the direction the voice had come from. Approached by a few Bladeknights, a creature very similar to the spider boy stood there, apologizing to them as they kept closing in. "I promise, I-I'll leave you be and won't ever bother you again. I-it was an accident, I swear!" One of the Bladeknights lifted their sword, extremely enraged, and was about to slash at them. Without a second thought, the spider boy jumped in the way, trying to protect himself and the stranger with a few webs which despite miraculously preventing any major injuries resulted in his scarf getting cut in half near the middle. As the other two Bladeknights attempted to attack as well, the spider boy tangled all three of them up with a few quick yet sturdy webs. "Didn't you hear them?! They apologized, didn't they?! Just leave them be already." The Bladeknights calmed down a bit before motioning that they'd stop. After the spider boy released them and the Bladeknights left, he turned to the quivering stranger.

With huge concern for them, he said "Hey, it's all good. They're gone now." No response. ". . .are you alright? You didn't get injured, did you?" he said as he offered them a hand or two to get them back on their feet as they had sunken to the ground in their panic. The creature looked up to the boy, who now that he had taken a closer look, noticed that they looked a lot alike. Their faces were of the same colour, so was their silver hair. The only differences were their hairstyles as well as the slightly different shape of their horns. "I-I...." the spider girl barely managed to get any words out because of how overwhelmed she was. After a few short seconds of silence and staring she jumped up and said "I am so very sorry. I wanted to try and create a few webs but I accidentally hit those Bladeknights with one and made them upset." She looks down, a bit ashamed and notices his scarf. "Oh no!" The spider boy responded, a bit startled. "W-what? What's the matter?" "Your scarf! It got cut in half....oh no, this is all my fault, how can I make this up to you?" She had a few small tears in her eyes. The boy looked down too only now noticing the damage that had been made. "Oh, don't worry about that. Actually I was wanting to get in shortened anyway, but I never really had the courage to do that." he replied. But the girl persisted "Still, with these loose ends it'll get ruined... please, let me try and at least fix that." "I...uh..." he glanced into her eyes now begging him to let her help "Uhm... sure? If it makes you feel better...?" The girl nodded before eagerly sewing the ends properly with a small string of spiderwebs. After only about two minutes she was done. "Here you go!" she said with a weak smile. "Now you have two, but at least they're not gonna get messy over time." The spider girl handed the two scarfs to him, trying to put on a friendly smile but still appearing rather gloomy. The boy took one of the scarfs but hesitated to take the other. "You know what?" She looked up to him, tilting her head a bit in confusion. "You can keep it. I wouldn't know what to do with it. Besides, it is getting rather chilly now." The girl just stood there, trying to make sure she understood correctly. As she notices the slightly awkward silence she asked "W-wait, for real? A-are you sure about this? It was my fault you got involved in the first place...!" The spider boy handed her the other scarf and held her hand for a small second. "Hey, don't worry about it. It was my decision to help out, don't blame yourself. Like you said, it was an accident." She breaks eye contact and looks at the ground. "R-right... ok then. I'll take good care of it, I promise." The boy just smiled. "I know you will. . . .What's your name anyway? We've been talking for quite a bit and I don't even know who you are." He let out a nervous laughter.

"I'm Sectonia. I-It's nice to meet you."
"The name's Taranza. Nice to meet you too."
