Five or six years ago:

It was a cold winter night, it was snowing hard. There was going to be a snowstorm that and Hizashi Yamada was driving home from his radio station, Put Your Hands Up. Hizashi had the heater blasting, trying to stay warm while driving, despite wearing heavy winter clothes and his winter hero costume. As the young hero drove home, he noticed a young child, who looked to be around the age of 10 with purple, static-like hair sitting by himself on the sidewalk of the city they were in. The child was wearing a light winter coat with holes in it, jeans that seemed too small and weren't wearing a winter hat, gloves or scarf. The sunshine-blonde man was worried about the purple-haired boy, so he pulled over and brings his window. "Hey, little listener! Are you okay?" He asked the small boy. The purple-haired child looks up, startled at first before seeing it was the Voice Hero: Present Mic. The boy recognizes the hero, not just by his appearance, but also by his voice.

"Sorry, little listener! I didn't mean to frighten you. I just wanted to see if your okay since you are just sitting by yourself on the sidewalk in a snowstorm." He said to the child, before shutting off the car and getting out of it to get a closer look at him. Hizashi saw that kid had some bruises on his face and some cuts on his jawline, Hizashi's motherly instincts wanted to comfort and take this child back home to his husband where it's safe but he didn't want to make the child feel scared or like he's trying to kidnap him or something. "I am okay Present Mic." The boy said while shivering from the freezing cold, trying not to make the man worry about him. The hero could tell he wasn't okay as he kneels down to the boy's height in the snow, as much as he hates to be in wet clothes, this child was more important than that. "What's your name?" Hizashi asked him, "Hitoshi Shinsou." The boy tells Hizashi, truthfully. "Do you have anywhere to go?" Hizashi asked Hitoshi,  the small boy nodded no. That answer made loud blonde's motherly instincts go wild but he remained calm. "You can stay with me and my husband if you want until we can find a good home to put you in?" The hero offers him, wanting both of them to get out of the blizzard. "Really," Hitoshi asked him, the older man nodded. After they got up, the go into the car with Hitoshi sitting in the backseat. Hizashi starts up the car, puts the heater on blasting since both of them were freezing cold before driving off...

Present time:

Hitoshi was now fifteen and was in the hero course, Class 1-A to be exact. Right now he was in English class with the rest of the class. The students were talking about their parental figures in their lives, while Hizashi was talking to their homeroom teacher, Shouta Aizawa, at his desk. "Hey Shinsou, we know that you see both Aizawa and Yamada-Sensei as parents but who do you favor more?" Sero asked him. The two teachers tuned in on their students' conversation, wanting to hear Hitoshi's answer. Shouta had a smug look on his face, thinking the answer was going to be him, and Hizashi rolled his eyes when he saw his husband's silly antics. "Yamada-Sensei," Shinsou told his classmates truthfully without hesitation as Aizawa's smug look melted like it was ice cream on a hot summer day, watching Shouta's face reactions made Hizashi snort as he was surprised to hear that.

"What!?" Cried out all of Hitoshi's classmates since they thought he was going to say their homeroom teacher's name in shock, they weren't expecting him to say their English teacher's name. "Damn, wish this kid was ours for real." The black-haired man whispered to his husband, Hizashi looked at Shouta like he was a complete idiot, which he was at the moment. "Shouta, he's been our kid for like five years now." He said to his stupid husband that he loves dearly.
