"Sooo, what's the cast list look like?" I asked, looking over Katelyn's shoulder as she typed at her computer. She shut the lid and turned towards me.

"You'll see when I post it and send it out." Katelyn stated. "I want the roles to be a secret."

"You're booooring!" I whined, moving to sit on her bed. She reopened her laptop and typed at it. "When's it coming out?"

"Later today. Maybe in less than thirty minutes. If you keep trying to peek, you're going to delay it."

"Katie!"

"Sasha doesn't even know her part, and she tried seducing it out of me!"

"Well, that's Sasha for you. But I'm not seducing it from you! I'm asking nicely."

"I'm not telling. Hell, I'm not posting the cast list. I have a new idea I saw online. We get the scrim down, and it's a mostly black screen, but the text is your role. Take you, for instance. You'd walk in front of the scrim before the text comes up. The other cast members know first, and then you'd turn around."

"That's really cool! Bro, I'm down for that!"

"Great. That's what we're doing at our first rehearsal then! We release the roles, then work on a number. Aaron said he and Dottie had... What? The overture choreographed? I think that's what I was told. Something's done."

"Awesome! Geeze, that's where Aaron's been. And why he's been working with Dottie."

"You know her?"

"She was one of the werewolves I was close friends with when I was female alpha!"

"Ah. I was gonna say, Aaron said he knew her from school and dance. I figured you knew her from school, I was just curious."

"What day is the first rehearsal again?"

"I can just drive you early with me."

"... Okay!"

"One of us is the Phantom, and I will fight Katelyn on that." Gene ran his hands through Aaron's hair. He sat in the row behind us with Zenix to his right and Sasha to his left.

"I'm not sure just how happy I'd be with being cast as the Phantom. Might have a heart attack up on stage." Aaron stated, leaning his head back so Gene could get closer to his hairline. "But if Aph's Christine... Hm..."

"Aaron's anxiety to be onstage versus his anxiety of losing Aph, go." Sasha joked.

"Yeah? And if you're cast as Christine? How's your anxiety gonna be under that?"

"Aphmau can hit, like, three more notes higher and lower than me. She got Christine, and I will fight Katelyn on that."

"Can't you just seduce her to change it?" Zenix reached under Gene's arms to poke Sasha's cheek.

"Like how she seduced Katelyn to try and see the cast list?" I added.

"You actually did that?" Zenix and Gene gasped.

"And you yell at me for being horny!" Gene cackled.

"Sasha, what the honest fuck?" Aaron turned around to face her.

"Alright! Alright! Welcome to the first rehearsal for "Phantom of the Opera"! We will be doing cast and understudy reveal, introducing the choreographers, the pit conductor, and the seamstress who will be making costumes! If I call your name, it means you either got a main role or an understudy role and will come up to find out who you got! If you don't get called up, you're in the ensemble. But, hey, fewer rehearsals for you guys!" Katelyn beamed.
