This day could not get any worse without my parents. It is literally impossible. Aphmau looked over Melissa's shoulder and stared at me.

"Just push past her." I signed. Aphmau nodded and maneuvered around Melissa.

"Who are you?" Melissa asked.

"I'm Aphmau! I'm one of Aaron's neighbors! I had extra Christmas cookies and another present for him!" Aphmau beamed.

"Aphmau? Aphmau, Aphmau, Aphmau... Princess!"

"Huh?"

"Irene, this is Melissa, my older sister." I signed. "She always bought the candy grams for you on my behalf."

"You're Melissa! I used to hear so much about you! How have you been?"

"Good, good! Merry Christmas!"

"Same to you!"

"I can take those cookies." I took the Tupperware and carried it to the kitchen. Aphmau and Melissa made light chatter as I did.

"What's brought you into town? I thought you lived in Falcon Claw?" Aphmau asked, making herself comfortable in her usual seat on my couch.

"Aside from coming to see my baby brother? I've actually been talking with someone in this area." Melissa responded, sitting a comfortable distance away from her.

"Oh? Really?" I signed. Melissa looked confused.

"Do you not know sign language?" Aphmau asked, noticing her silence.

"No, Aaron usually talked to me... I guess I shouldn't have put learning it off..."

I pulled out my phone and opened google translate. "I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE TALKING WITH SOMEONE."

"Who's the guy?" Aphmau asked. "Wow, that was heteronormative of my bi ass, who's the lucky person?"

"Sorry, Aaron, but you're getting involved! Aphmau I heard you were over here and I'm in a gay panic!" Lucinda kicked open my door and charged straight up to Aphmau. "I invited over a really pretty girl for Christmas and- She's sitting right next to you, Hi! Melissa right?"

"Lucinda?" Melissa nervously asked.

"Yeah! Hey! Uh, you know Aaron?"

"I'm his older sister, actually. I assume you're friends with Aphmau and maybe Aaron by association?"

"Yeah! Wow, what a coincidence!"

The girls remained in awkward silence. They held eye contact, but not a conversation.

"Useless lesbians, get out of here." Aphmau joked. She stood up and pulled Melissa to her feet.

Melissa and Lucinda both chuckled, blushing brightly. "My place?" Lucinda asked.

"Sounds good to me!" Melissa beamed. "I'll stop by later, Aaron! I'm in town for a few weeks."

"SEE YOU." I waved and watched Lucinda tug her out of my house. I pocketed my phone and sat next to Aphmau. She handed me my present with a huge smile.

"You didn't have to buy me two things." I signed before unwrapping it.

"I wanted to. Plus, I was gonna give it to you soon anyways." Aphmau shrugged.

Inside of the small box was a necklace with a resin pixel heart in the exact colors of our first album cover.

"We reached five hundred thousand streams." Aphmau beamed. "And we match!"
