I drank my coffee and fiddled with the TV remote. Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan were still asleep and I wasn't excited enough to wake them up.

I was still shaken up from last night. I didn't want to celebrate Christmas today. I had nightmares based around junior year that basically kept me up all night. I shouldn't really be drinking coffee since I'm tired.

"Did you brew a whole pot?" Katelyn yawned. She hugged me from behind and rested her head on my shoulder.

"I did. Merry Christmas." I beamed.

"Merry Christmas. I'm glad you're pretty cheery this morning."

"I'm excited to give KC her present."

"That's right! She'll love it."

Katelyn let go of me and walked into the kitchen. Kawaii~Chan came down soon after, wide awake and admiring her ring.

"Good morning future Mrs. Cabllero." I joked. Kawaii~Chan hugged me before continuing to the kitchen.

Both ladies came back with cups of coffee, though Kawaii~Chan's looked like milk.

"Ready for presents?" Katelyn asked. I nodded and so did Kawaii~Chan. "Great. KC, you first."

Kawaii~Chan set her Coffee down and picked out her gifts. Katelyn sat next to me and we cuddled up to each other.

Katelyn and I combined didn't get her much, as her main gift cost a lot of money. We had buried it under layers and layers of duct tape, and I think Katelyn put the last box in air dry clay.

"You two are so mean to me." Kawaii~Chan whined, trying to break off the clay. "What's in here? Stolen jewelry?"

"You'll love it, trust me." I cheered.

"We spent a lot of time getting that, we weren't giving it to you that easy." Katelyn added.

Kawaii~Chan got the lid off and took out the papers in it. "Delta airlines? Round trip... I get to go home for new years!" Kawaii~Chan looked up at Katelyn and I, tears forming in her eyes.

"Do you know how hard it was to communicate with your family? I think it costs us more for international calls than for that ticket." Katelyn chuckled.

"You two are Litterally the best!" Kawaii~Chan stood up and we met her in a hug. "And there's two?"

"What? Did you think I helped Dante set up a proposal and not let you take him with you to announce it?"

"You three were planning all that together?"

"Aphmau didn't know about the proposal until yesterday. I just told her that you'd want to take Dante."

"You two are the best, thank you."

We broke from the hug and Kawaii~Chan wiped her eyes.

"Katelyn, your turn." I beamed, ushering Katelyn towards the tree. She went over and Kawaii~Chan took her place. Kawaii~Chan wrapped her arms around me and rested her head on my shoulder.

Katelyn got some boxing gloves, and a few notebooks. I had one more surprise for her, but I wanted to wait until she realized I wasn't even trying to hide the fact I was hiding something.

"Hey, Aphmau? Whatcha thinking of?" Katelyn asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, just how excited you'll be when we go see Hamilton." I shrugged. I pulled a small box from between the couch cushions and tossed it to her.

She tore open the wrapping paper to find two tickets to Hamilton. "You're joking."

"I helped her pay for them! I now see why you chose that date. I don't want to go, so you two went while I was in Japan." Kawaii~Chan chimed in.
