Chapter 5 ~ Team 7

Akuma’s pov

It’s been five years since I moved to Konoha. Being here wasn’t bad as I thought, but I still missed Gaara. During these 5 years, I usually trained or went on some A-rank or B-rank missions. Sometimes even on S-rank. I became an ANBU. Yet I was still not allowed to go back at Suna. The Akatsuki were still on the loose. 

I woke up hearing a poking noise on my window. I rubbed my eyes and saw a light brown kitty with blue eyes. I got up and approached the window opening it slowly. The kitty nuzzled under my arm. I picked her up and kissed her nose.

"Morning Daisy, you got more messages for me?" I asked smiling then took the paper message tied to her leg. 

I read the message.

'So, lord Hokage wants to see you again.'

I sighed. 'If he gives me some lame task again, I will destroy the village.'

'Awww, my dear Akuma doesn’t like to change baby dippers? c: '

'An ANBU isn’t supposed to changes baby dippers nor take care of babies.' My eye was twitching. 

'Well then, let’s see what he has for you now.'

~Time skip~

"WHAT!!!" I yelled and slammed my hands on his desk.

"HEY! Watch your tongue while speaking to the Lord Hokage!" Said Ebisu. You remember him right? That guy, with black round glasses and awful smirk, that teaches Lord Hokage’s grandson Konohamaru.

"Calm down both of you. Akuma, for now I want you to be put in the team 7 and monitor Naruto."

"Because he is a jinchuuriki? Don’t you have faith in that kid?"

"I do-"

"Then tell me why?"

“You are still a child Akuma. You should be surrounded by people your age and not killing missing nin every day.”

“Killing people is my job and about friends… There is only one friend I need but he isn’t here.”

“Akuma.”

“Fine! But I still get to go on my missions when I want to.”

“Very well then. You will be assigned as the forth teammate but won’t take the exams like they do since you are at the top. Go and meet them in the academy at 10. You are dismissed. Oh and If they do D-rank missions, so will you.”

I looked at him with a poker face then turned around and jumped off the window.

Ebisu panicked. “Don’t worry. She always does that when she doesn’t believe that something she hates happened.”

~Time skip~ 

I ate some apples when I got home, got changed and then went to the Academy. I found Iruka in front of the building. I don’t know lots of people though.

“Good morning Akuma-hime. You’re just in time to meet your new team.” Iruka greeted me with a smile.

“Good morning Iruka and please no formalities.” I said with a little smile.

“As you wish then, Akuma-san. Follow me.”

I nodded and followed him until we were in front of some classroom and there was a man with silver hair with a mask in his late twenties waiting. He was reading Icha Icha Paradise. Do I even need to tell you who it is?

“So Kakashi, you are going to be my ‘sensei’?” I almost snickered.

Kakashi smiled. “Yes, yes I am. And I suppose that you get along them just fine and be even better in teamwork.”
