My parents?

I woke up with an arm around my waist. "OMG LUKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" I yelled while jumping out of the bed, he instantly woke up.

"What? he asked while rubbing his eyes, flexing his arms I'm the process, oh great he was shirtless

"You know what, why were your arms around me?!''

"Because we where cuddling..." He thinks I'm dumb doesn't he -___-

"Friends don't ' cuddle'" I said while putting air quotes In the air

"Yes they do Clara" he said while laughing

"Oh" was all I could say, I sat at the end of the bed, watching the current movie that was playing. He must have forgotten to turn of his tv last night :/

"So where are your parents?" I asked

"My parents?"

"Yea" he sighed but after a few seconds he grabbed the remote and turned the TV off, he sat by me

"Well my dad died when I was 5 and, and so it was me and my mom. You see my mom would always be home late after work, most of the time I'm sleep and I haven't see her all day. Most of the time she'd get home drunk. I always loved my mom, and I still do. But I feel like she never noticed or cared for me, on Sundays when she has breaks off she always goes to the bar and gets drunk, I usually go out on Sundays because when my mom gets drunk, it's not pretty. One day she left a note saying she would be home by 9pm, I was so exited! I got to see my mom!. It was 10 and she still hasn't came, I waited and waited and waited. I stayed up till 5 am. Till this day I still hasn't seen her, I'm worried ya know!. I mean she could be dead" He was crying like a baby now, and so was I

"But I know shes still alive'' he continues, wiping his tears away with his arm

"She's somewhere out there, she may have not notice me, but I know she loves me, and she would never leave me like that, I just know" he finishes, just then I started to him, he was In so much pain, how could I not notice?

"So now that I told you mine, do u mind telling me yours?" he asked looking into my eyes. I looked at him blankly for awhile, but then had the courage to speak

"Um... well'' I took a deep breath "I was 2 months when my dad left" I started to tear up " I haven't contacted him since then. After 10 years, my mom remarried to a man named Chuck, the person who you called the cops on, but anyways he started beating me everyday when my mom was at work, I was only 10. Then a year later when my mom finally found out, he started beating her too. about a month later my mom ranaway, she left me with him. Every since then, it got worse, and I promised my self I would run away some day, and now here I am, sitting here with a blued eyed and blonde hair boy, telling him my story" I laughed

"Oh well maybe you did have it worse than me" Luke laughed along

"Hey what do you wanna do today?" I asked

"Um I don't know, wanna go to a movie?"

"As In a date...?'' I asked smirking

"No no no no just as friends" he blushed

"Whatever floats your boat Lucas" I laughed

"THAT'S NOT MY NAME!''

"lol today it is" I said while getting up to get ready

Me and Luke just finished watching 'Titanic', I swear I cried the whole movie, especially the part when they were hanging off the ship, and when she let jack sink to the bottom of the Ocean, WTF MAN?!?!?

"well that was shitty" Luke says

"DUDE ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?"

"what? I mean Jack and Rose barley new each other, why would she care if he sank at the bottom of the ocean?"

"But he saved her life, and they developed feelings for each other since then, hell, she even broke up with her fiancé for him!" I fought back ?

"Yeah yeah, she didn't even cry when she sunk him, and at the end she dropped the neckless In the ocean"

"I KNOW WTF" I laughed

"But she still changed her name to Dawson for him" I scoffed, just then Luke's phone rang

"Hello?" he answered

"Yes this is he, who is this?"

"Ok, thank you"

"Thank your bye" he hanged up

"What was that all about?" I asked

"It's my mom, shes In the hospital''
