Your P.O.V

"Theodore may control me, but I still have half of me within."

"You mean you're being mind-controlled?"

"He can do that inside the Pit. Outside he can't hear."

I bit my lip and thought hard. In a situation like this, the only way out is to either find one or create one.

"Is there really no way out?"

"You ask to many questions."

"Please, Shu. Just believe," I plead, tearing up. "Take off your silly red mask as well. You can't hide who you are, and no matter what you'll always be the one and only Shu I have forever known and loved."

He slowly took of his mask, finally revealing his true self.  I immediately understood that when we go back in, I would have to take on whatever hardships there may be.

Shu's P.O.V

(y/n_ had told me to take off my mask when I talk to her. She had also insisted that she call me Shu, even though I know he is long gone. And I let her, I've not the faintest idea. Her protest and the sound of her voice calls me deep inside that She's not someone I should leave behind into the past.

Before I had chosen this path, Theodore had warned me that I couldn't return. That's what I had wanted- to forget about everything that was behind me. Even Valt. He was a hard one, but in order to become one with Spryzen I had to. Now there's another part of me- that (Y/n)'s not forgotten.

She smiles at me- in an instant felt remorse.
