Tapping my foot I bit ma lips so hard as the clock stroke 12, Brooklyn wasn't home yet, Roddy was out it was just I and Josiah.

I was mad angry waiting for Brooklyn to come home I understand she's grown but not old enough.

Before I knew it a car honked at the gate as I walked towards it seeing Brooklyn get down as it drove off.

"Where the fuck you coming from at this time lil girl" I shouted as she walked passed me.

"Hey" I shouted as I grabbed her hands.

"Am talking to you" I said.

"Why you even telling me what to do, am grown" she shouted as she walked into the house.

"You're not Brooklyn" I shouted following her.

"Who dropped you, is it a guy huh, you just 14" I shouted as she turned around.

"Why can't I have a boyfriend, you had ma daddy when you was 13 right, so why not me huh, just leave me the fuck alone" she shouted as I walked back a little.

"Am....your mother" I paused....

"Nah you ain't, you don't even know how to train Josiah, you not even married to ma dad either, withchu I gotta share ma dad and ma uncle, now that's the kinda mother I got" she shouted as she ran upstairs.

"Niah" I turned as Roddy looked at me. "I....I..." I paused as tears fell from my eyes. He hugged me tightly as I cried in his arms..

"Am so tired" I said as he rubbed ma back.

The next morning I woke up, as Mama Faye walked in. Roddy was still sleeping so I told her to wait a little.

"Am not sure about this" she said as I sighed.

"I'll go check if his up" I said.

Before I could turn Roddy came downstairs but stopped in his tracks.

"Hi Son" mama Faye said as he looked at her.

"I just came to pick Josiah" she said as Roddy stood there then went back upstairs.

"Hi grandma" Josiah greeted as they hugged.

"Everything packed" I asked as he nodded.

"Be a good kid, not too much sweets okay" I said as he nodded. "Give mommy a kiss" I said as he did.

"Love you, okay mama" I said as Mama Faye smiled and walked out.

Dave was also going to code for Brooklyn they were both spending two weeks I needed time.

"Miss a nigga" Dave said as he walked in.

"No boy, didn't you see your aunt" I asked him. "Yeap, where's Brooklyn" he asked as he sat on the kitchen stool.

"She upstairs, we had a fight last night" I said as I explained everything to him. "So all that cause she want us to be together" he asked as I nodded.

"If I didn't have Quita I woulda had you". He said looking me dead in the eyes.
" I will go get Brooklyn " I said.

After Dave left with Brooklyn I was alone with Roddy my heart jumped as I had missed out on all the love and affection. As I walked into our room he was there sleep so I joined him.

Waking up it was dark, I couldn't believe I slept from morning till....I must have been really tired. Looking by my side Roddy wasn't there, sighing I got up to ease maself.

I just decided to take a pic then go downstairs.

As I went downstairs I heard an instrumental like RNB playing.

The lights where off so I went further down.

To see candles everywhere and rose petals.

"What's going on" I smiled in confusion as I saw Roddy dressed in a suit. "Roddy, what's going on" I asked him as he smirked.

"Its just a wake up call, go to the guest room, wear what you see and come downstairs" he said as I smiled.

"Omg this man up to something" I looked at him as he smiled.

"Ay trust me" he said as I laughed going back up.

I'm not feeling too well, so I will cut it here...
