Coming around to the idea of being yours (KilluaxGon) or (GonxKillua)

May I come in?

"Jerk"

There's a silence after Killua accidentally says aloud what he meant to only think. The quietness isn't full of awkwardness more like anticipation. Who will talk next ? What about after that? Until finally Gon laughs. Not a light chuckle but a Gon laugh and if it isn't music to Killua's ears then it would be to anybody who knows who that laughter comes from and knows it's not anything negative or knows that nothing negative will happen after.

Hunched over wiping a tear away from his eyes as he tries to calm himself down Is Gon 'of course he'd be so carefree about this' Killua thinks while he lets out a sign and pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration.

Gon finally straightens himself out but is still coming down from his laugh high when he answers.

"Yeah there's no maybe about it I definitely deserve that but at least say hello first how is that any way to greet a friend?" He smiles cheekily as he chastised Killua whose cheeks are now tinged a slight pink in added frustration.

" How is that- no wait a minute, how is THAT any way to treat a friend ?! What the hell you stupid monkey! You out of us has got some nerve saying that after assaulting me then leaving for years without any contact!" Oh boy Killua is pissed.

Gon makes a twisted face at Killuas words "I didn't assault you we got into a spat like we always do at least that time we didn't end up wrestling over a choco-bot that was more serious and you know that now.." he looks down almost as if he's ashamed but not quite.

That brings up some good memories and soon both of them are smiling not looking at the other for a moment before Killua leans against the open doorframe crossing his arms over his chest.

"So Freecs, you here cause you need a place to crash?"

"You know that's not even a reason Zoldyck you know I'm perfectly fine sleeping outside.. you know me I'm here to see my best friend and to celebrate our big 21st's! I know I'm late for yours I.. walked didn't take any type of mechanical mode of transportation don't ask I lost a bet with some drifter" Gon says adding an eye roll at the end.

"Alpha beta or omega ?" Killua asks

Gon tilts his head "does that matter?"

Killua shrugs his shoulders and turns to walk in taking 10 steps before realizing Gon isn't following he hasn't budged an inch.

"You coming ?" Killua asks gesturing forward into the house.

"May I come in and stay for an undecided amount of time?" Gon asks sweetly and politely as he bows every so slightly as if Killua is The lord or the house or something.

"Geez what's up with that you weirdo? But yes you're welcome to stay for an undecided amount of time with one condition" Killua says holding up his finger and making eye contact.

"If you decide you wanna leave again tell me and don't just... go dark on me again please"

Killua seems so small in that moment it makes Gons heart ache even before he hears Killua whisper out the last part,

"Broke my heart last time.."

This makes Gon tear up and dropping his bags on the ground he speed walks to Killua and attacks him in a bear hug.

"Oh Killua I'm so sorry I really am the biggest jerk!"

Killua hugs back not squeezing as tight but he takes in Gons scent of sunshine dirt and something else he can't quite place as Gon also inhales Killuas scent of light ink, peppermint and vanilla. They break apart for a minute both wiping their eyes before Killua punches Gons arm.

"OUCH! Hey what was that for Killua?!" Gon whines out rubbing his arm.

"For admitting to being a jerk after trying to deny it and showing up unannounced!" Killua snaps back before heading with Gon to help get one of his bags from the doorway.

After they close the door and are about to start up the stairs Gon says, "Hey Killua?"

Killua stops already one step on the staircase and foot on the second he looks back at Gon with a short 'hm' before Gon gives him a quick peck on the cheek.

"Thanks Killua I missed you" he smiles and looks up at him.

Taken back from the unexpected display of effect Killua blinks and turns his head so Gon won't see his blush mumbling "you're welcome"

And thus they start their trek to Gons designated room or the room he's stayed in the last time he was there for an undecided amount of time.
