It had been a few days since Calum had last touched the Ukulele's. Duke still used them as a bed, in which Calum would quickly carry him off.

He still didn't know what to do with them, Calum could have played them. But he didn't know if they would break. If they were used, wouldn't they be old and weak? He didn't even know if they could play anything. Maybe they had just been used for decoration and that had been it.

He quickly found that nonsense when Duke had stepped over one of the strings, though. It's like the dog wanted to play some music of his own. As Calum was reaching over to pick up his pup, he heard the beautiful melody the Ukulele had played below Duke's paws.

He sat down, picking Duke up and placing him beside the couch. He picked up the small Ukulele and placed it on his lap. He couldn't exactly hold it like a guitar, as it had a much smaller figure, so he had to try his best to hold it in a way that was comfortable.

He thought of a song to play on the strings. But he couldn't think of any. Big Time Rush wasn't an option. My Chemical Romance was too much electric. Green Day had more of a deeper vibe...

Finally, he chose to go with one of their own songs from their new album. Best Years. He thought that song would be perfect for the Ukulele... and when he strummed the first part... that's when it struck him. This Ukulele sounded beautiful.

More beautiful than any other women or anything he had heard of before. It was the perfect mixture of Luke Hemmings voice and a piano. Calum instantly wanted to play more. He couldn't put this Ukulele down. It was as if he had been cast a spell upon by this Ukulele.

The beautiful melody of the Ukulele and the song were splendid together. He went from song to song. Any type of genre or music just to keep playing the Ukulele.

Duke seemed to like the sound as well. He laid on Calum's feet, wagging his tail happily. The dog sometimes began to thump his tail to the beat of the music. And it would make Calum chuckle at the slightest of bits.

Calum put the Ukulele down to try out the darker Ukulele. He began to play Monster Among Men on this one. And once more, the melody had sounded beautiful.

Calum had enjoyed playing bass, but not as much as this Ukulele right now. Maybe he'd become the Ukulele player of 5 Seconds of Summer. He'd come on stage and strum his little heart out to its content.

The day had soon passed by. It went from hour to hour. Morning, to afternoon, to evening, to night. When he had checked the time, it had been 11:43 PM.

No matter how much he didn't want to, he placed the Ukulele down. He almost felt lost without it. He picked up Duke and walked over to his bedroom.

Tomorrow would be another day with the Ukulele's.
