It wasn't Calum's fault that his mother wanted to buy him 2 small Ukulele's off of Wish. When she had told him she was mailing some things to him from Australia, this was not what he had expected.

Opening the box all the way, he had lifted up the small guitar shaped figure. He ran his hand alongside the wood. It was smooth, yet sharp at the exact same time.

It's not like he hadn't had a Ukulele before. He had had plenty before. He knew how to play them, he just hadn't for a long bit. He placed the Ukulele down softly on the couch beside him.

His dog, Duke, instantly leaped up onto the soft cushions to inspect what this weird small shape was. He sniffed around it before standing on top of the surface. The small pup may have thought of it as a new bed, because he instantly began to lay right on top of it.

"No. Duke get off of that. It's not a dog bed." Calum told his dog, lifting him off of the Ukulele. Calum kissed the dogs small head and placed him on his lap which Duke instantly snuggled against. This made Calum chuckle. His dog was so adorable.

He lifted the other Ukulele up. He made sure to do it softly and slowly so he didn't disturb the poor pup laying in his lap. This Ukulele was a much darker shade than the one he had lifted before. The wood was a dark mud brown.

This made Calum think of the weather it was right now in Los Angeles, California. It was rainy and through the non-grassy patches, all you could see was mud. The brown sticky substance that Duke loved to play in. Calum had to wash his dog countless times a week because he would never stop playing in the mud.

Calum placed the darker colored Ukulele right next to the brighter one. You might have thought of it as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. And Calum chuckled from the thought.

This got Duke all stirred up. He opened his eyes and looked at his dad as of saying, "Can't you see I'm resting hooman?" Calum lightly pat the pup's head. Duke's eyes instantly were gazed back on the Ukulele's spread on the couch.

What would Calum do with them? He wouldn't give them away. No! He couldn't do that. Not when his mother spent all that trouble buying and mailing them to him. It was a thoughtful gift. But at the same time, Calum didn't think he had the room.

But until he found the room, this spot on the couch would be fine enough. Nobody would be coming over anyways thanks to quarantine. It was just Calum and his pupper.
