Winter

You were right in the middle of wrapping last minute presents when your front door slammed open.
"Mom?" You called without looking up.
"Yes, sweety?" Jacob said in a high pitched voice.
You laughed and stood up to hug him. You planted a kiss on his cheeck and backed away from the hug.
"Oh don't look!" You said realizing his Christmas presents was sitting on the floor.
"Ok ok" he laughed covering his eyes with his hands.
You hid it in a bag and put the bag away.
"Ok you can look now"
He smiled.
"The parade of lights is in 20 minutes, do you want to go with me?" He asked.
You smiled, "sure"
You threw a coat on and jumped on Jacobs back.
"Next stop, The parade!" You declared with your finger in the air.
Jacob laughed and carried you out the door then dropped you carefully.
You both walked to one of the streets the parade went down since it was only a few blocks away. You found a good spot to stand, and stood there.
"Aw, you're shivering" Jacob said taking off his coat, "here take it"
You took his coat and threw it over yours, then looked up at him with a smile.
The parade was about half an hour long. You walked back home afterwards as it was nearly midnight.
By the time you got home it was 11:59.
Jacob walked you to your door and you smiled at him.
"Hey Y/N," he smiled "merry Christmas"
Before you could say anything he pulled you in and kissed you.
"Merry Christmas, Jacob"

Omg sorry it's been so long since I updated. This sort of sucks. But I've been really busy and then my charger was broke for like 3 weeks and I just promise to update more often.
