"Jeon Jungkook, number 104!" He heard his name being called.
Jungkook got up from his seat.
He didn't want to remember what happened the day before, how his hopes were brought up, just to come crashing down again.
He gloomily opened the door to Namjoon's room. Namjoon looked up at him, seemingly busy with even more paper work. This time, a pair of spectacles rested on his nose perfectly.
"So," Namjoon started,"Things aren't exactly too good for you now, lover boy?" He put his book down and urged Jungkook to take a seat.
Jungkook plopped himself down. His eyes were slightly red, with large, dark eye bags to accompany them. "Yeah."
"Hhmm" Namjoon hummed while picking up his black framed spectacles,"You really shouldn't get too hung up on it, you don't even know your true feelings for him, don't you? You're still confused, whether you really like him, or this aching feeling is just due to the fact that you're thankful to him for being your first friend." He theorised.
Jungkook looked up at the older. He always seemed to be able to look through him, like he was reading an open book, but then again, there was a reason why he was a therapist.
"Yeah.. your right." Jungkook leaned back in his chair," I really don't know anymore."
After a long pause, Namjoon sighed, "Y'know, maybe what you're feeling is infatuation, not love."
Jungkook looked up. He couldn't help but agree with what he said. Maybe it wasn't love, maybe it was just a phase, maybe he mistook infatuation.
"But then again," Namjoon looked directly at Jungkook, "through out the seven years that I have known you, every time you got infatuated with anyone, you would show it. Your attempt to hide it may pass other people, but not me." Namjoon smiled proudly."
Jungkook looked away.
"This time through, you show clear signs of affection towards Jimin," Namjoon crossed his legs and pushed up his specs like a genius," You've definitely feel something more than infatuation towards him."
Jungkook looked down again, " Yeah, thanks detective."
Namjoon chuckled, " Yes of course, IQ 148-"
"Ok I'm out" Jungkook stood up and got ready to leave.
"Alright, if you have any problems, just tell me kay? You can crash at my office anytime." Namjoon picked up his book and grinned at Jungkook.
"Okay okay dad." Jungkook turned towards the door and got ready to leave, but not pausing before just to turn back to face Namjoon again," Thanks a lot, hyung."
Namjoon clicked his tongue and pointed at Jungkook," Any time, lover boy"
As Jungkook walked out of his room, he reflected on what he told him.
" More than infatuation, but not exactly love?" Jungkook rubbed his eyes and sat down on a random chair.
"There's something called "like" y'know?"
Jungkook looked up at the source of the voice. He was tall, with wide shoulders, a very handsome face and a cheeky grin on his face. He took a seat beside Jungkook and layed back, while resting both arms behind his head.
"Ummm..." Jungkook looked away again, "Who are-"
"The magnificent Kim Seokjin of course! The worldwide handsome that everyone loves and worships!" The latter shot his hands in the air in a very dramatic manner, nearly hitting Jungkook.
Jungkook was shocked.
"Oops," Jin looked at Jungkook" Got way too carried away" He retracted his hands .
"No, it's fine." Jungkook also went back to his original position on the chair, and sighed.
Jin immediately took notice of his actions and quirked an eyebrow,"Love problems aye?"
Jungkook sighed again. Was he that easy to read?
"No, not really, it's just that you were talking about love and infatuation and stuff just now and I happened to overhear," Jin looked at Jungkook," hope you don't mind."
Jungkook thought,"Wow, even worse, he can read minds."
"Of course I can-"
Jungkook stood up, ready to leave.
"Waitwaitwait okay I'll stop!" Jin grabbed Jungkook's shirt.
Jungkook sat back down.
"Alright, I know I took it a tad bit too far, I just wanna give you some advice, kay?" He smiled hopefully at Jungkook.
Jungkook was skeptical, he wasn't sure if this stranger he just met wanted to help him, or just wanted juicy gossip to tell others. He knew that Jin was a therapist to, due to the uniform, but he had trust issues.
"I'm a therapist too y'know" Jin pointed at himself.
Jungkook hummed in acknowledgment.
"And I have lots of love experience, you can trust me to give good advice, think of my as your advisor, not a therapist.' Jin started.
"So, what's your problem, lover boy?"
"Lover boy?" Jungkook thought. "So similar to Namjoon."
"Helllooo anyone home?" Jin jumped Infront of Jungkook and looked at him.
"Yeah yeah" Jungkook rolled his eyes.
He took a deep breath, and got ready to tell Jin what a difficult situation he was put in.
