"Hey guys" John turned around in his chair to look at us "We are heading into a storm." Oh no. I had always been afraid of heights and flying, but we had stopped and refueled successfully so I let go and decided to enjoy the flight a little. Besides, flying in a 'minivan with wings' wasn't the same as flying in a commercial airline. "Relax babe it'll be fine," Holt said. I told him to piss off. I made eye contact with Matt again, and just as I did, the plane shook. And it wasn't like a turbulence shake, it was a shake that made my stomach lurch. I felt my stomach drop, and out the window, the ground was coming at me fast. Nowhere to run. No way to escape. Then, for a long while, there was silence. Blissful silence, but at the same time everyone was screaming... its... hard to explain. Have you ever seen a movie where there is a disaster happening and the character's mouths are open, but you can't hear anything? It was like that. I guess its the shock that overcomes you, the realization that this life is ending. The moment seemed so dreadfully long, and I had time to contemplate things before it all ended. I wondered what would become of Ronny and my mom, wondered if I'd see my dad soon, wondered what dying would be like.

I saw the ground get closer and closer, death creeping up on me. Time seemed to slow and almost come to a standstill. Then the sound of branches against the bottom of the plane, then the sides, then the front. The branches slapping the plane was almost deafening. Then there was a loud crash, and everything was dark. Am I dead?

Authors note: Sorry this chapter was so short, but I'm an evil human being and I wanted to leave you all on a cliffhanger. Anyway, ciao, thanks for reading.
