Chapter 8 ~ The Unexpected..?

{Chapter 8}

{Mini recap on what happened last chapter}

        Harold and Charlie headed into the limo which would take them to the hotel. They got to the door and Alastor answered, "Hello Dear, Welcome back! Who is this you brought with you?". "Hey Al, this is Harold. My ex- I mean my boyfriend!.... Again I guess..." Charlie replied while laughing awkwardly in a quiet manner then went silent.

{Charlie's POV}

      We walked past Alastor who stood there...He looked confused..? "Charolet- I mean Charlie can we talk..?" Harold asked me. He never calls me Charlie..I sigh." Sure, we call talk.." I say. I stare at him. It remains silent until he speaks.. "I mean can we talk in private away from 'him' ?" he asks, basically pleading. I then noticed Alastor was staring at us with his really creepy Cheshire smile...the smile he gave Vaggie when he first came here. I love Al and all but I'm just as intimated as I first met him...then I realize such he was actually really sweet once you get to know him- I snap back to reality when Harold basically asked me if I was okay.I responded, "haha...suree-" he then grabs my hand and he drags me up stairs.

   He stops dumbfounded. I then realize he doesn't know where we should 'talk'. Luckily, he stopped on the floor number that I was staying in and we then went to my room. "So, what would you like to talk about 'Harold'" I say slightly annoyed. He looked embarrassed which surprised me. "Charlie look...I'm sorry I truly am...I've been a total loser and it took me a long...long time to realize that. I've hurt you all these years... near the end of the relationship I did it because I didn't want your dreams crushed but it turns out I was wrong..ever since our relationship ended it always lingered in my mind. I genuinely feel guilty especially how my sister and I would treat you. I immediately regretted it once I came to realize..that.." he said but didn't finish.

     "That...?" I responded. I was actually surprised on what he said.I really wasn't expecting that..I thought he was gonna smack me because of the fact "the almighty radio demon" is in the hotel. Harold sighed, "I realize that you first of genuinely don't deserve to be in this hellhole. Also, you deserve someone who loves you for you and will not change you.I also missed you being around. After the relationship I realize that I kinda see you as a younger sister in a way that I have to protect... more of a sister than my sister would ever be.." he mumbled the last part but I heard him and smiled. "Apology Accepted! But, this doesn't not mean I'll forgive and forget. You have to regain my trust!" I said proudly and smiled. "Which is why I have an idea I would like to propose until we figure out something better.." he said. "What do you propose, Harold?" I asked. "I propose that we all pretend to be 'happy and in love' in front of our parents. But, if you're in a relationship with someone like Vaggie you can continue but make sure it's secret. And, to your friends that you want to inform them on the situation than them being confused.."  he responded. "T-That is actually not a bad idea, Harold!! I approve of this idea!" I squeaked slightly excited by the fact he's not forcing me to be in a relationship!

He's acting like himself when he was younger. I miss when him and I were younger...him and I got along more for the most part. Sure we got into fights, and usually I was the one who apologized, but we did have fun times together back then..I hope we can do them now in time as well.. I snapped back to reality when I realized he said Vaggie earlier. "Also Harold, by the way I should mention that Vaggie and I aren't together anymore....But, I know I shouldn't really trust you in the sense you've hurt me before but I REALLY need to get this off my chest....I think I'm falling for someone..and I don't know what to do." I said softly. He smiled. "That's great Charlie,I just hope they won't hurt you like I did...and hopefully they aren't pure evil...Also, maybe I can give you some advice..?" he responded. From there we continued talking just like old times, he gave me advice and we talked about memories from when we were kids..

Little did they know someone was listening in to the majority of their conversation...

Hope you enjoyed! Also, 3 Chapters in One Month??? I've must have lost my mind lol...Also, can we talk about Harold and Charlie's high school picture for a second...?

Yes, this one. To Be honest in this picture I genuinely feel like Charlie was actually excited for this one. Also, feel like she dragged him along and he rolled with it. (In this fan fiction I kinda made him an abuser/bully (cuz his sister seems to be one >:v)meanwhile I kinda wonder if he was a cheater. If you notice he's looking another way and looks like he's winking.? Unless the camera flashes and it blinded him. But, I gotta be honest when you look at this picture without any context they look kinda cute. :v)
